Aqua Shard - Menu

We felt the food was very overpriced for what you were served. Also that you had to pay extra for sides when you've already paid £120pp. We were also advised to buy sides per person when there was actenough for 2.

We came for the Peter Pan afternoon tea for my friends 30th birthday, the staff were amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious and one of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had, such a good experience and definitely worth it!

As soon as we arrived we were hustled. This is essentially a fast food restaurant with white linen cloth. Three times we were asked to immediately place our order by the waiter his boss and his boss's boss.. No matter how many times we told them that we would like to have our drink before we order they would not relent. Go to McDonald's instead this is not a romantic dinner. View menu

The food was exception, but the best part of my experience at Aqua was Michael that I attended to us. He made sure we were comfortable, satisfied. My friend was running late, Michael worked with me on when to place order for food to be ready same time my friend arrived. He gave good recommendation on the menu. I would recommend anyone going to Aqua to request for Michael to serve them.

We knew before going it is one of those restaurants you go hungry and leave hungry and poorer, but there was no excuse for the quality of food there. The menu didn’t offer many options and 3 out of the 5 dishes we ordered didn’t taste nice. Also, we were excited to get the shard desert but that was also very disappointing. The service was okay and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would advise to just go for drinks and the view.

Very nice views over the City but very expensive set menu for what it was and certainly nothing ‘to write home about’. I also strongly objected to the 15% service charge being added automatically. Who does it go to? Admittedly this is optional but to add it to your bill at those prices 15% is a rip off. I had it taken off and tipped our waiter personally which to me is how it should be done if you consider you have had good service. View menu

We had quite a rude waiter when we sat down . It took a long time for us to be asked what we would like to eat or drink. I had to ask for a wine menu. The food was very hot and being English we waited until the end to complain, only to be told we should have said something earlier , which might have been easier if there was someone who was being attentive to us! All in all not a very good experience for a meal which was very expensive and meant to be an anniversary treat .

Arrived early, seated straight away. Bit squashed as a table literally right in front of ours. Had to notify staff I was veggie even though I’d done it when booking. Daughters brought on the Peter Pan clock mine was just 4 sandwiches and a croquette on a plate. Was told an aubergine item would come, never did. Pudding brought on the ship, for some reason ours continually leaked water and staff had to keep mopping it up, not exactly the high standard you expect for the price. No tinkerbell cookies with ours unlike all of those around us and by the end there was no room on our little table. It wasn’t worth the £70 each and certainly not worth the 15% service charge on top.

Not 100% positive experience. Excellent quality dishes, both in terms of taste and presentation! Fabulous environment to say the least! The only sore point is the service. Very helpful waiters, but we had arrived early for an aperitif and had to wait 20 minutes to receive our drink, only to be instantly moved to the table where we were supposed to have dinner. Later one of the diners received the fillet with the wrong cooking and in practice we had to eat at different times. I understand that these are circumstances that can happen, but certain situations, if you go to a place like aquashard, which has very high standards and costs, these shortcomings are not tolerated, especially in importa...
