"Hello! following the good advice on google, my companion and I wanted to taste the kitchen of the new owners of this place and result: we had really not been disappointed! In addition to the beautiful decor and warm welcome of young employees, we have tasted tasty dishes with regional products of quality at affordable prices! Too bad the crowd gets on the north side of Calais on Saturday night, because we really have very good addresses in the city center! only flat for a greed like me, maybe not enough varieties in charcuterie for the plate of the hot biloute"

"Quite a blast from the past. Charmingly dated decor, food options and presentation. A menu and restaurant frozen in the 80s, complete with tuxedoed waiter. The owner was passably polite. Spent a lot of time gossiping with some (I assume) grandees of Calais on the next table. We didn't want to drink alcohol but the waiter was quite pushy and insistent, implying that we were cheap (offering us a cheaper price for a glass) rather than just taking no for an answer. Service was slow. But the food was very hearty and and flavourful when it arrived. Impressive desserts"

"I went to eat a monday evening, the building looks a bit odd and very retro, i was very confused entering the place because it was very isolated from other restaurnats at least by night . the decoration is a combination between contemporary and quite vintage chairs not sure if this was the intention i took a menu but most of the choices was with supplement like the lobster starter 7 euro or the chef idea as main course 8 euro more or less not quite sure if it was worth it. the view is really nice and the service very professional. i asked for a chocolate dessert but there was some problem with it because i couldn t cut the crust with the knife, i reported to the waiter and he gave me a meat knife but it was still very hard and i had to send it back. they removed the dessert 10 euros from the bill. i find the prices more expensive than some other places, especially if you take the courses with additional costs, also the 10 euro for a glass of wine moelleux is very pricey. maybe it's worth to try a lunch."
