"When Arancini first opened in Kentish Town, it was fantastic. The arancini were delicious and light, and there was a good variety of food to choose from. I have been a regular customer ever since. While I am a vegetarian who consumes dairy, I was somewhat disappointed when they switched to a vegan menu. Despite some menu changes that I wasn't fond of, I continued to dine there. However, on my most recent visit, I ordered some mushroom and courgette arancini on their own and found them completely inedible - I actually had to spit them out. They were dense, sticky, and had a glutinous brown texture, nothing like the light and delicious risotto-filled arancini I had enjoyed before. No Italian would recognize it as authentic arancini. Does being vegan really mean changing the recipes this drastically? Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Arancini."

5 tiny little balls of Soggy mess for £6 A burger that squished to very little. Cheap food at expensive prices. Dissapointed after such a great online marketing ploy...

The restaurant closed over a year ago, so I wouldn't recommend going there. However, there is a place next to it called Albion's, which is pretty good. It has everything you need.

I may be far from vegan but this place is great! Wonderful light, healthy food that's convenient to grab on the go. I hadn't heard of arancini before but it seems to be becoming very trendy and I love the concept!

We visited the restaurant after seeing pictures of their burgers online, and the food didn't disappoint! Good value for money and generous portion of fries, however found that the restaurant itself was unkempt and could do with a refurb! View menu

Had the chkn and mayo with citrus dressing wrap from here and it was very tasty! The mock chicken is delicious and the wrap is stuffed to the brim with salad and the chkn. Marked down a point just because I couldn’t actually taste or see any of the arancini balls in my wrap so I’m not sure if they were in there or were forgotten but it was still delicious.

In Italy, it is generally true that you can go into an unassuming eaterie and find delicious food it is all about the food, not the decor. Something similar happens here in this unassuming and uncompromising (in a good way) Italian café. They specialise in arancini (risotto balls) and use them as the base for everything. I had the chimichurri stack and it was delicious. One point to note, payment is card only.

I was so looking forward to some tasty arancini after a swim. I had been to Arancini Brothers in the past, (probably been a year) and had arancini with cheese and I think meat in it and thought the food was good. However, it seems to have gone vegan in that time. I found the vegan arancini not impressive: sticky in a strange, synthetic way, tiny, lukewarm rather than hot and for 7 tiny arancini and a can of soft drink I paid £9.58 which I find ridiculous. Shame. The staff seem nice and it is a nice place but I think they need to improve the quality drastically. View menu

I was excited to revisit Arancini Bros after enjoying their Old Street location last year. I went for a late lunch in May, hoping to try something new, and ordered a classic wrap. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my choice. The risotto balls were hard and dry, unlike the ones I had at Old Street, and the salad they were served with appeared to be past its prime. I suspect that my late timing played a role in this, as the balls and salad may have been sitting out for a while. Despite this, the wrap was generously filled and reasonably priced, so I am hopeful that this experience was just a one-off.

What has happened to this place? My first visit this year was for a quick weekday lunch, I was expecting the usual delicious crisp and gooey arancini with a salad, what a disappointment. The place was empty when I visited (I've struggled to find a spot to sit on previous trips) and I can't help but wonder if that's because the quality has dropped so sharply. The arancini were tiny, tough, tepid and tasteless. The salad was an amalgamation of the cheapest possible ingredients; beans and frozen sweetcorn with the occasional chunk of cucumber but no green leaves, no variety of taste or texture. All dull and uncomfortably indigestible. It is such a shame, this place was great when it first opene...
