Au Bord De L'eau - Menu

Simple but well presented menu in this cafe style restaurant right next to the canal . Good service, good food & good value. If your French isn't great you don't need to worry as the owners are English!

We have eaten here several times this past year and we have always had a great evening. Friday fish and chips are excellent and there is a nice variety of salads if you want a lighter meal. Nice relaxed at the marina. A pity they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Probably the worst meal we had in France grizzle in burger , was asked if I wanted medium, and arrived cremated. Portion size was very small. Very expensive 1 burger, goats cheese salad, carafe of wine 41 euros, then charged 12 euros to moor boat!! Don't get me wrong happy to pay double if the food is good. View menu

We had peppered steak medium rare which were excellent. Loved the house chips and salad on the side.The four of us all enjoyed our evening meal and with the English owner and chef we enjoyed being able to order our meals in English.The only minor complaint was that 3 of our deserts arrived a long time before the last desert was served.

Second visit here and this restaurant never disappoints. The filet de boeuf with peppercorn sauce was cooked to perfection and simply stunning! The service excellent and a great vibe and atmosphere. Overall experience was brilliant and highly recommend. Kevin and Sara very friendly and welcoming, don't know where that last negative review came from, they must have been referring to/ eating at another restaurant!!

We first stopped here as we needed some lunch and the rest of Buzet was closed. However, that did us a favour as otherwise we may not have eaten here (it is slightly away from the village centre), but we had such a pleasant time that we ate here again on our return journey. On both occasions we had main course salads, accompanied by a glass of chilled Buzet wine, out on the terrace in the sunshine beside the canal. All most agreeable! View menu

The restaurant is on the bank of the Lot-et-Garonne canal and is popular with boaters and cyclists. It has a simple, basic kitchen but, nevertheless, the menu choice is quite good : steak, fish, omelettes etc. all are reasonably priced and the food is well-presented too. The entrecôte was very flavoursome! Well worth a visit if you are cycling on the tow patch - the chilled beer was most welcome on a hot day. A pleasant, tranquil restaurant situated just out of town.

It's a lovely spot down by the canal, watching the boats and fishing enthusiasts and from a simple cabin some really excellent food is beautifully prepared. Small menu doesn't mean that any detail is overlooked and the owners work hard to make sure everyone from just drinks to full dinner are well catered for. It's friendly, casual and always a better standard of food than you might initially think. Tonight there was added musical entertainment which made it a fun Saturday night.

We traveled the garrone canal in June. We stopped at this lovely little marina and were warmly welcomed by the family members of the owners. Lovely people. There were a mix of Boaters and Cyclists at the restaurant. It is small but charming. The food was FABULOUS !!!Made with love. We arrivals late and the chef/owner made us a wonderful filet mignon as well as those who arrived after us. The wine and desserts were great. It is informal but delicious! It was just as great on our way back. Highly recommend it for a great meal, relaxed setting and lovely proprietors.
