"Reliable good place to stop and eat or drink or have coffee in a relaxed manner. it's like a good local bar and restaurant. Open from the morning through to 23h00 nearly all the time, means you can normally get something to eat at anytime,...which is rare in France and even rarer in Niort! The menu is quite wide but full of staples, like entrecote, some awesom salads and the very excellent New York skycraper burger. Nothing special, but not average either ... good brasserie atmosphere and plenty of space outside or in. Want to go out and at the last minute, or feeling like a relaxed evening ... perfect and you will leave full and satisfied..especially at the price!"

Had lunch here last week. Great food selection, even for veggies, and lots of beers on draught. Good location, right opposite park, and large terrace for eating/drinking outside and people watching.. And food available all day

Staff were all excellent and looked after me perfectly. Food is standard pub' food with a very large selection so no surprise that it comes from the fridge/freezer direct to the microwave and/or deep fat fryer. Prices are very reasonable. View menu

This is a very busy restaurant we ate there on 2 separate occasions in the evening but the service was very good , the food was very good and a good price . It wasn't French food it was British cooked to perfection ....We loved it there opposite a park we loved it all lit up at night .

a very lively restaurant and I am not surprised. eating is pub eating, but very good. the personal is helpful and we eat in this restaurant the three nights were in niort with our black labrador dog. their light engravings are added...bonus they found us every night a beautiful table at the window. would return to au bureau when we were back in town.

we know and love the au bureau in poitiers, so it went very happy into the at niort. we were served our drinks, but the menu was taken away. When we asked to order food, we were told that they did not make burger (they didn't even have what we wanted to order) and just sent happy with all the others. Maybe they just didn't like us! would not regain this second. I give 2 for every drink. View menu

we really liked it, here all party had fish chips, both children have this for the first time in France. batter was light and crispy, the fish flew slightly apart and the french fries were crispy and light. dessert lemon...cheese cake, crepe nutella and gooey chocolate pudding were delicious. the waiters were attentive, service fast and will definitely return. beautiful city and great location.

Every time that I have dinner in La Brèche and I use to look for Au Bureau. Very nice ambience and food. My favorite is the AuBureau salad, nothing special indeed...but I like it very much. Last time my friends ordered a burger whose bread is...not really bread but mashed potatoes bread...next time I MUST try this. It looked delicious! And for the desserts you MUST try the lemon cheesecake verrine. It is AWESOME!
