Had a thoroughly good meal here. A delicious 'amuse bouche' followed by a very tasty foie gras, and an excellent fish dish. Didn't have desert although it looked very good. Would go back here for sure. View menu

You definately pay for the location in this spot. The dish of the day looked like something I whipp up on an average tuesday night. The entrecote I had was delicious though. Overall it was not worth paying that much money. I will not go back there next visit.

We selected this restaurant not knowing anything about it. We were very pleasantly surprised by the ambiance but even more by the food.The dishes had a lot of different flavours. We had a great time identifying these and to agree as well.We shal be back. I understand the chef has four different restaurants in Montmartre, we shall try them all!

This little restaurant is on a side street to the right of the Sacre Coeur basilica. You'll see the black awnings and the olive tree outside. The service is very friendly, on the night we visited everyone was treated to a little amuse bouche - which was a good thing because even though the restaurant was only half-full there was quite a wait for the food. One reason could be that there was only one chef in the kitchen. We ate here in early June 2012, on our last night of a month in Paris, and still remember it a year later. The "Salade du bout du monde (flétan fumé, rillettes de maquereau et hareng)" was so good that I ate more and more slowly so it wouldn't end. Greens, 3 or 4 kinds of roe, as well as the halibut, herring and mackerel, and a marvelous dressing. We were glad we had made a reservation (Saturday evening early) as we saw many people ask for a table and be turned away. The Burger du Clocher (agneau et boeuf), frites maison, had many little touches (a thin layer of ham, for example) that raised it from just a burger to superb.The menu changes; the Salade du bout du monde doesn't appear now. I chose this restaurant for our New Year's Eve Meal mainly down to location (we wanted to be at the Sacre Coeur to see the New Year in) but the special menu itself was reasonably priced and looked appetising. We located the restaurant really easily and were pleased with the view of the Sacre Coeur from our table. The welcome was friendly and efficient. We began with hor d'oeuvres and a chilled glass of fizz. There was no pre-order which was great, we both had the terrine which was light and crammed full of well cooked vegetables. We both chose the Guinea Fowl for main course, and although it was cooked well, it lacked the style and presentation of the starter. The dessert was bitter chocolat...

After having sampled Monsieur Heerah's imaginative dishes at another of his Montmartre establishments, Chamarre Montmartre, we were surprised to stumble upon this little gem, another of his four local restaurants in the area, nicely located behind the Sacre Coeur. Being a Tuesday evening, the dining room was quiet, but our waitress was attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. The room was beautifully decorated with festive trinkets, which gave the restaurant a warm, welcoming feel.
