The chalets are in good condition and very comfortable, beautiful swimming pool with spa. Lots of theme nights and day activities. "Ate a late lunch here after a long time skiing on the pistes of la bresse (parking on the route des Crete avoids the hassle down in the main ski station). Skied down via 'la bouvreau' to the station just to get my day pass then stayed clear of the crowds there by staying high. As usual skiing 12-14:00 is quiet, but some places don't serve food after 14:00. The patron at this auberge was most welcoming and I had the fixed mountain menu. It was huge! A large bowl of pea soups, a massive tartiflette , salad and bread, followed by a copious fromage blanc with bilberry sauce ( all made at the farm) brilliant meal. Helpful chatty staff despite it being busy. Will be back and remember not to have breakfast before."
