Located across from the chateaux in epoisse it offers a set menu of three course at about fifteen euros. All food is prepared on site by talented chef. Well worth a visit. Great value for money.

we stumbled over this little restaurant and we couldn't believe our luck. it was one of the best restaurants we saw in France. beautifully decorated, friendly service and especially exquisite eating. highly recommended! I hope we get a chance to get back.

we stayed around as stop at the way back to the wallis. I used google to find local restaurants and this place came up, and the environment looked beautiful. so glad that we chose it, eating was great and the environment was...absolutely beautiful. small menu choice, but this is what I like, as I know, it will be well cooked, and eating was amazing, my steak was perfectly blue cooked, and my wife guinea foul was really nice. they also had a children's menu, steak skin or ham, children chose the steak dragon and loved it. I ate here with friends on a recommendation, nice location and the best carrot puree I have eaten in a long time. But service was pretty abysmal. given there was one other pair of guests, no excuses for lack of eye contact, what is...the point of slicing bread , opening wine and not putting it on the guests table, returning to gossip at the bar for minutes .. . A little bit of thought with the decor, for example having tables placed sideways instead of facing the kitchen would help. Food was not bad, so a pity to not support the chef.

We were on the lookout for somewhere to stop for lunch on a bit of a mystery tour' the sign for the restaurant on the side of the road gave us just enough warning to pull over and we were glad that we did. It...was obviously a popular place for lunch and we were warmly welcomed and seated. The waitress was very pleasant. I had boeuf bourgingnon and my husband had the menu which included a cold meat starter, roast chicken and a cheese course. All the food was excellent and good value.The restaurant was clean and very tastefully decorated. We would definitely eat there again as we visit this part of Burgundy regularly.

We drove into Epoisses thinking of the cheese and this clean and convenient location delivered. It has a great view of the moated old city and was the first place that caught our eye. The menu has some of the classics, but also some different...items for those wanting to branch out. The feuilleté and Mme de Sévigny salad delivered the cheese we were looking for! The escargots were not the usual butter and garlic, but maybe a bechamel with mushroom? Different, and chock full of fresh meaty snails.
