"En tant que clients réguliers de l'ancienne direction, nous étions un peu hésitants à l'annonce du changement de direction. Nous avons réservé une table et sommes allés prudemment. que dire : un service simple, essentiel, professionnel. Nous avons commandé un Colonia Mix 2.0 et une caponata sicilienne. Puis pour suivre, des Involtini siciliens et des tagliatelles aux fruits de mer. Enfin... un excellent tiramisu maison. Recommandé pour toute occasion"

"the restaurant is located in a beautiful location, next to a harbour, on the lake. there are free parking nearby. on this Thursday evening the place was full. Our waitress was very friendly and tried to tell us German, but suddenly her layer ended at 19:30 and we had to leave the staff so that we could order the wee. it took at least one hour to serve the main courses after the order, and because the service was so slow and angry, we did not order more than a bottle of wine (and we were six people). the registration of our contact data was so confusing that we finally gave up these efforts. why not use a piece of paper? on the positive side the dishes were beautifully presented and served with delicious marinated vegetables. the pork chops were tender, but a little dry. we tried to book a table by email, but no answer to our post, finally called and said they don't take email reservations. please bring back paper menus!"

"I’ve been going to Buffet du Tram in Cortaillod for ages, and it’s always buzzing. Seriously, it’s like a little piece of Paris right here with its lively, noisy vibe – no music needed. Just a heads up, it’s super popular, so make sure you book a table in advance. Parking’s usually easy to find, but it can get packed. Inside, it’s always full but in a good, lively way. The staff are amazing, even when it’s super busy. They’re quick and always friendly, which just adds to the whole experience. Now, let’s talk food – the filet de perche is my go-to, especially with boiled potatoes (though loads of folks swear by their handmade fries). They’ve got a bunch of other great stuff too, using local ingredients, and the desserts are worth saving room for. Plus, they’ve got this nice selection of local wines that really hit the spot. Honestly, Buffet du Tram is just a great place to hang out and enjoy some good food. It’s got this great, bustling vibe that keeps me coming back. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t yet!”"

"I hesitated a lot what to rate this restaurant. I finally decided for average since indeed the food is good and worths to be recognized. The menu is simple: burgers, perches, salads but tasty. What ruined it for me were 2 things. First the wait: for a burger, a pasta plate and a faux fillet we waited 1 hour, after waiting 10 min to be seated and another 10 to have our order taken. Yes the terrace was full but i think it had something to do also with having only 2 people attending all tables for everything. I have never waited in my life so much for a child menu (the pasta they usually come very fast. The second reason is more worrying in the current context of required social distancing and hygiene norms. Practically there is none in this place. I had plenty of time to observe it as i was waiting( . New customers asked to sit at tables full of leftovers from previous ones. Tables not wiped at all. Waiters picking up everything by hand including money and not once in my 2 hours spent there using the desinfectant which is indeed provided in the middle of the terrace. Dessert menus passed from table to table not wiped. Net an unpleasant experience all in all. Really a pity as this place has potential with the location and the nice flavours."

"The personnel who works here is incredibly RACIST. We kindly asked in French a small question about where one could find a trash can and he literally kicked me and my friend out. They were so mean. Needless to say after that we decided it is better not to eat anything there. Anyways it is only 100 years old rich people who goes here. Edit to respond: How are we uneducated? See even by insulting me like this here without knowing my education level you are showing that you are racist towards foreign people. We perfectly cleaned and didn't leave anything behind, in fact to make sure nothing drops on the path we wanted to find a disposal right there. I kindly said bonjour and everything and I was literally shooed outside with a rude hand gesture. My family also runs a business and this isn't how you treat people."
