"It was a Monday evening when quite a few restaurants in Honfleur were closed but we came upon the Auberge , which was open, and went in.We were welcomed and offered the choice of a couple of areas to sit and were soon sipping aperitifs ( my friend and I chose Champagne which was delicious) whilst pouring over our menus. Our starters were all excellent- Foie Gras, Crevettes and mine was a sweet and salty crumble served on top of sardines and sliced potatoes- just superb!Mains- 3x Salmon in a creamy sauce and 1 Skate in sauce and again all proved to be delicious. Finally desserts- 2 rice puddings, 1 cheese and 1 apple charlotte. A great end to a perfect meal.We booked a table for our last evening in Honfleur and again were not disappointed!!"

The restaurant is a bit away from the hectic touristic places. Menu is simple but tasty. Friendly owner setting a bit older, but ok. Good price quality

After the first evening we went another 2 times. The people were very friendly and the food was excellent. If I could I would go another time but Honfleur is a bit to fare away.

We went there for dinner and fortunately had a reservation. Restaurant was crowded. I had a plate of seafood as a starter which was delicious. Same was the case for the other dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the interior was nicely decorated.

Small restaurant, Normandy menu - but top end. Really good quality food. My fish soup was spicy and delicious, the duck and pork excellent, with good veg and good sauces. Lovely chocolate dessert, again delicious sauce. Beautifully done, plenty of bread for the hungry, efficient service.

Excellent warm welcome when we arrived, a choice of table to suit us, great menu choice , with 5 choices on each of the set menus of entree, main ,dessert, Presentation was as good as anything one would receive from a 5 star hotel, maybe better.Excellent value for the food and wine .strongly recommend this restaurant.

Greeted by friendly staff in a very traditional restaurant interior, musty damp smell, a different offering of regional dishes set menu 23 euros, St Veran 26 euros is the best value in Honfleur, sardine & apple gratin with a crumb topping interesting, full house on a Saturday night tells you the popularity of this restaurant 82.50 euros

We didn't want to eat at the harbor along with all the touristy restaurants. So we ventured a little off the tourist path and came across this little place. The staff was very nice and the food is excellent. It is far better than the ones at the harbor and a bit cheaper. The oysters were very fresh and the main courses were well prepared with great presentation. I would definitely go back to this place.

On a corner site in the old part of Honfleur, this good quality, very good value (particularly the set menus) restaurant offers a great alternative to the often overpriced tourist places by the old port area. Very good, welcoming service. On the negative side , there is a 'musty' smell as you enter as mentioned by other reviewers which is unfortunate but that soon disappears. It's a good local restaurant which deserves patronage.
