Nice place, good quality food. A simple and effective little restaurant

great eating and the staff were also great at my terrible French! loves the tables outside specially cut to fit on the inclined road.

Warm and welcoming, good food and just a wonderful evening. There were plenty of people, many locals, who made it a lively place for dinner.

Jazz atmosphere in this cave where we are quickly and well served. A classic map with a menu of the day less than 15eur, very well before continuing our discovery of the country of Sancerre

they had good bistro food; mostly pizza and burger. they had also eaten, but they had to order in the restaurant and stay there to pick it up. they had amazing riders and the service was good. Unfortunately, the tables were not social... removed, but they had eaten outside.

New experience at the stables, cuisine and excellent burger!!! Thank you to Alla for its IMPECCABLE service! ... came to dinner several times, warm welcome, very nice waitress and waitress with beautiful smiles, quick and efficient service, generous and very good dishes and pizzas. Although we hadn’t made a reservation, and they did have a table for us at the last moment, the service was bad. What was bad about it: everything lasted very long, they couldn’t have our €30 bottle of wine chilled (lasted until the bottle was...half empty), my entrecôte was super thin and burned, employees were very busy with each other instead of the customers and there was confusion all the time about various things.

This restaurant is nicely situated at the edge of the square with multiple tables in the basement which was happily buzzing away and 6 or 7 outside tables. We opted for the latter. The friendly waiter suggested a 50cl organic Sancerre rose which was superb....Unfortunately the food not so, I ordered a chicken dish and my other half a tagliatelle with salmon. They both arrived, surprisingly in minutes, way too quickly to have been freshly cooked. Both dishes were dry and really not good. Most people appeared to be eating pizza which looked excellent unfortunately not us.

Walking past several white-linen-clad fine dining restaurants, we were thrilled to find Auberge l'Ecurie on a narrow Sancerre side street. What a refreshing gem it is. The atmosphere is warm and cozy nothing pretentious! The quaint tavern-like room is packed with friendly people talking...and laughing. Servers are busy, but friendly smiling and teasing us on our feeble attempts at French. Local patrons at neighboring tables were quick to strike up a conversation again, laughing and tutoring us throughout our stay. Our meals arrived quickly and expertly prepared again, nothing pretentious just very good, and plentiful meals! Extremely enjoyable evening in this little hidden gem!
