Super restaurant ! Cuisine excellente et accueil sympathique, aimable et souriant. Aussi bien pour le café du matin et le repas de midi. Je recommande vivement. (Robin)

Good local food at reasonable prices. The setting within the square at Sancerre is stunning. The service friendly though it gets busy at times but this is France, relax and soak up the atmosphere.

The cafe des arts has great omelettes, sandwiches, ambiance and drinks. Then there are the desserts! Milkshakes and sundaes to die for. Of course beer, wine and cafe are always available. Try to use your French, as it will get you a big smile.

Pleasant and naturally ventilated terrace in the heart of Sancerre. Well-made sandwich brewery, delicious local beers, not forgetting a judicious selection of local wines, very good value for money. Fast service, smiling and in a good atmosphere, which doesn't spoil anything.

We sat out on the patio while taking a break from touring vineyards and had a very nice lunch here of local fare. The salad and crottins were lovely. The service was a bit scattered which rankled my North American sensibilities but overall the waitstaff were attentive and friendly.

Très bon accueil, serveuses et serveurs efficaces et à l'écoute. Le service était rapide, malgré une bonne affluence et une terrasse pleine. Cuisine simple, mais bonne et servie copieusement. Idem pour les glaces en dessert (difficile de choisir autre chose, en ce jour de canicule ! . Tout cela pour des prix très corrects. À recommander.

This cafe is situated in a square in Sancerre in a lovely square. It has a good menu, though the portions are rather large for our appetite. I had a Gezier salad (€ 9.00) my companion a Sanceroisse salad. We also had 1L of Pellegrino fizzy water ( € 4, ouch) and half a bottle of very tasty Letitia Ducroux Sancerre rose from Crezancy ( € 12 ) It would be hard to fault this leisurely lunch.

the sun was shining so we sat outside, I had an omelette but was disappointed that there was no mushroom option, I asked the waiter for more salad dressing - he said I had to have ordered salad to have that, then he brought some! seems he likes rules - however he was pleasant enough. the area had a few bikers arrive which was rather noisy, the food itself was good - more bread would have been better. all in all for March it was a good place to enjoy a lunch with friends - would visit again
