"We utilised this cafe for a baby shower of 18 people. We opted for afternoon tea, which included unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. The food was absolutely delicious, so much choice, from sandwiches to cakes, to scones, sausage rolls and more. Excellent value for money! Jill was extremely helpful and friendly throughout, as I now live in Liverpool and organised the shower from there, she was there to offer any help and answer all of my queries when I rang. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to ensure everyone had a really enjoyable experience. Jill and staff then boxed up the food that had not been eaten so we could take home. Really excellent service, so glad we came here for the day. Would more than happily go back if ever in Sedgefield. Thank you so much again x"

Arrived at approx 2pm on Saturday. Only two pieces of cake to choose from in cabinet. So disappointed as you would expect a good choice on a Saturday. Staff we pleasant.

Been here a couple of times when In Sedgefield. Great value for a quick lunch time snack, or basic hot meal like sausage and chips or omelette. Staff are super friendly. Will be back again I’m sure.

Can’t wait until they reopen! Apparently they will be doing more specials such as Greek Salads with homemade Tzatziki, Hoemade Hummus with warm Pitta bread, Baba Ganoush (Homemade Aubergine Dip) in both Vegetarian and Vegan varieties with warmed Pitta (again with a Vegan alternative Pitta)....can’t wait

Visited this cafe again today, had one of their speciality scones cheese/bacon/onion which was absolutely delicious.Any one after a lovely clean, bright and friendly cafe should give this little gem a try. I would highly recommend and just to add the scones are made fresh every morning not like other local establishments that I have visited in the past.

My friend visited for the first time last week and was super impressed. So much so that we both went on Saturday......whilst just enjoying a lite bite of tea, coffee, scone and cake....which were delicious......we feel our next visit must include something from their great menu. The place is exceptionally clean and social distanced and the staff more than welcoming and pleasant. This is a great find in Sedgefield and most definitely worth a visit!

"started really well and went to the counter and ordered a cream with bananas and nutella and especially gave no earthberries I also asked after a san pelegríno still water as this was on the menu. I was the first person to order and the last to eat at the end. I brought my water over which was a cheaper brand water I just had £2 for what I would like to have seen? we will, when asked for san pelligrino to say water that they do not in. Finally my crepe and I take a bite and understand that it is earthly on the whole species and wise by which I am allergic. one of my family members takes it back and says that I have asked for bananas, there is no earthly reason why I cannot eat it and did not want it on my crepe. then 5 minutes later another crêpe comes out, who was my bite crêpe, that someone had put the earthy and banan in the bananas. disgusting ... not sure whether this was a mistake or just stingy either as it did not. it is then returned because there is no way I eat, and it is explained again, there is a reason that I can not eat strawberries, to which then one of the owners passes to serve the right crepe and apology. I really hope that today a lection has been learned because cross-contamination is not a sweat. please be careful when they eat there. I didn't get any refunds offered, but then they were ready to serve me a bite crawl, so it didn't surprise me so much."
