First ever visit yesterday, service and food 1st class, nice to find a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff

The sandwiches were delightful and the hot beef bun with chips was a tasty choice. The staff was extremely friendly, making it a place worth revisiting.

We stopped by while out walking our dogs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good coffee and scones! Dogs were provided with water and a sausage! We’ll definitely be back- in fact the dogs will probably refuse to go past without stopping now!

Very nice little cafe. Staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Highchair available, but unfortunately no baby changing. Disabled parking right outside. Good selection of food and drink, nice portion sizes, not too big or small. Options to takeaway available. Lovely choice of desserts. The cheesecake was amazing!! We called in about 3pm and asked if we were ok for a sandwich still. The gentleman was very accomodating and my husband ended up having corned beef pie chips and peas! was very tasty! as was my wrap and salad!. We arent local but have been in before when weve had to go to Sedgefield and have always found the staff lovely and helpfull, and thd food good. Good scones! Thank you very much!

Visited Aubergine Cafe once again yesterday with my family. The quality of the food and coffee was very good and the price was very reasonable. The biggest standout point for me was the customer service which was exceptional. Personable and customer focussed, greeted with warmth and a smile, these qualities are rare commodities in this day and age and when received should be acknowledged. Thank you for a lovely visit and for making us feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable.

No 4 Tearoom is charming but can feel cramped at times, with limited space. We decided to try Aubergine Cafe down the High Street, where we were accommodated even though tables were reserved. The owners and staff were welcoming and happily pushed two tables together for us. The service was warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Hot Chocolate Deluxe and the extra treats given to the children. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely return for more outstanding customer service and excellent value food. View menu
