"After counting the Augustiner Bräustuben on the other side of the Hackerbrücke to my favorites, the Augustinian cellar is not quite suitable here. The services are nice, but food is far from as good as on the other side of the track. The precious material from the wooden barrel is, however, a real classic and racer. For me, when visiting Munich, I always have a must. What makes the Augustinian cellar so symphatic to me is the original beer garden with the old great chestnuts, which in summer give excellent shade. All in all, I am very happy with this original beer cellar near the main station in Munich."

The Brausteak was very dry, the fried dumplings were very fat. I didn't cost it. Too bad, never eaten so bad in Munich.

for us the most beautiful beer garden in a couple. very good eating and the staff always beautiful and friendly. I've known the beer garden since my kindness and I've always come back.

We visited on a Sunday evening so there was a limited menu. However, although it was busy it was possible to find a seat and the atmostphere was very good. An authentic brauhaus and we enjoyed our visit. View menu

The service 5 star, atmosphere very germanish and good. But food 3 stars not more. Beer good but for this money you spend there you will get a lot better food and many more beer. I would definitely not come here another time.

We had booked a table for 7 tried to change the table (it was a bit cold outside) but it was hard to communicate with the staff in English. Bavarian food was OK but the place outside is really beautiful with all the tables and the trees. Nice stop for a beer in the afternoon.

Because the service manager (at the main entrance to the restaurant) was so high, and did not help us in finding our reserved tables, just 2 stars. The dishes were all OK, the waitress was friendly. Price of course a little high. The beer garden is huge! Reservation is recommended! View menu

A good experience with loads of cheap, good food and enormous beers. The place was loaded but the staff managed to serve us well. Toilets was clean, but the toilet guard seemed to shrug and laugh of my little monetary donation when I emptied my wallet of cents, so the place somehow managed to make me feel like a fool when we left the place. Also somewhat weird that the server asked for tip so she did not have to split up my bill.

This beer house has a much better experience than the famous Hofbrauhaus. The service was fast and friendly. The food was fantastic. You should definitely try the final dessert on the menu, the steamed bread pudding. We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and stayed until 10pm. There was no music but it was very lively inside with people cheering. It was raining so we all piled inside. Enjoy! Well worth the trip. It’s right near a tram station that easily takes you back into the city centre.
