"Babylon Café is a little restaurant in the backstreet of Bastille. Open to rue Daval for Lebanese food takeaway. It's worth entering the clean tiny room. Seated neck and neck with regulars you will enjoy simple dishes quickly served in a cozy friendly atmosphere. Falafel, roasted eggplant, shawarma, hummus, tarama, veggies, pita bread, ginger tea, a draught beer, it's all good and cheap."

The best shawarma and falafel I've found yet in Paris.__This is an unassuming place tucked in a side street near the Bastille. View menu

Searched for the best falafel in Paris and, as the number one rated pick was closed on Saturday (who knew)?! we hopped on the metro just to find the number

Excellent little Lebanese restaurant. Quick service, very good dishes and prices defying any competition (between 10 and 12€ for a large complete plate). To be recommended!

Ordered take away two afternoons: le petite and le mixte. Solid options. Falafel nice and crunchy. Good homemade sauces. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive bite. View menu

For lovers of Street food and Mediterranean flavors, the Fallafels-Chawarma mixed sandwich is just a crazy! Smile, crispy, balanced and generous, all served quickly and with a smile... just perfect! A beautiful discovery!

We searched for a falafel place near the Bastille and google maps brought up this one. We ordered two falafel sandwiches for picnic on the canal. They were excellent, so fresh. I would go back and eat in the charming little spot. As a tourist, I was very happy to have found this local little spot. It was a nice vegetarian option.
