"The situation - in the middle of St Wolfgang just a little off the busy tourist areas - is a really pleasant place to sit & soak up some local atmosphere while enjoying a good coffee & something delicious from the cake counter - where there are excellent savoury semmerl too. It's perhaps the smallest Konditorei in St Wolfgang, with a friendly feel. The locals seem to use it a lot, which is always a good sign.We always head here when we visit - at least once every year for 9 years. Never disappointed, although it has changed a lot in that time: there are now a couple more tables inside & the outside tables are no longer served: but service just inside is with a smile."

Nice bakery with a family service. Clean, friendly, quick and consistent service at reasonable prices. Jam Biscuits and a sesame seed beer just great. Freshly baked egg!

The front window of this bakery/café called us and we couldn't resist. We all had coffee and sweet pastries after the walk around the beautiful Wolfgang. All in our small group were different and were happy about their choice. You can't go wrong. View menu

Wir hatten zwar immer nur einen Kaffee dort, aber weil die Bedienung sooo herzlich, lustig und nett war, musste ich eine Bewertung schreiben.Auch wenn wir nie etwas gegessen haben, die Kuchenvitrine war immer mehr als üppig gefüllt und sah wirklich sündhaft gut aus!

Solo un toast e una cocacola ma il toast era buono, il tavolino all'aperto accogliente e il personale simpatico. Si ordina alla cassa e si porta al tavolo (selfservice) tutto quello che è già pronto. Non abbiamo approfittato delle belle torte esposte (chissà che buone) e il conto alla fine è stato leggero.

Had coffee, tea, cheese and ham sandwiches and apple and apricot strudels. 10/10 for each item, lovely flavour that you just do not get from British bakeries/cafes, lovely coffee good tea. €15 for the lot eat in is excellent value as well-can see the 'equivalent ' in the uk being £25. The apple strudel and the coffee were very good at bakery café Gandl, it was only later that I learned that this bakery has been in place for 200 years and specialized in ingwerbread... I'm not sure how I missed this: my recommendation is when you visit, you should certainly try to get her ingwerbread. Service was efficient and friendly.

Das "Gandl" mitten am Postplatz ist eigentlich jedem in St. Wolfgang bekannt. Der Lebzelten aus Wolfgang betreibt hier das Cafehaus, welches nicht gerade riesengroß ist, aber eine tolle Auswahl an Süßigkeiten bietet, verschiedene Kaffees und auch Frühstück. Im Sommer ist ein gemütliches Verweilen auf der Terrasse vor dem Cafe möglich. Sehr freundliches Service!
