"On the negative side, 1) the bar staff in the room were unprepared when we arrived. 2) The manager on duty was quite unpleasant; she was rude to the groom's mother, which was surprising given that this establishment seems to pride itself on being respectable. 3) Several of the beer taps broke early in the evening. 4) The toast drinks were not prepared on time and required a reminder, which delayed both the toasts and the announcement that food was ready. 5) Additionally, the manager denied the groom's mother access to check for any leftover belongings in the room. On a positive note, the venue itself is lovely and the BBQ food package was quite enjoyable. As for whether I would return, I would have to say probably not."
