"I've been walking past Baity for a few months wanting to check it out and this was the first opportunity I had to do so. I love middle eastern food and this didn't disappoint, with some dishes new to me and not just the mezze style food with pitta bread that gets served up in so many similar establishments. There were several dishes here I hadn't had before full of unfamiliar and mouthwatering flavours. Particularly loved the Sumac Veggies starter. If I had a slight caveat it's that this isn't a plush posh nosh restaurant more of an arty cafe vibe going on. That's fine I'm up for that but I wondered if the lighting was a little bright and brittle which kind of ran counter to the delicacy of the food. But overall terrific stuff and I'll definitely be back, and have already recommended Baity to friends including someone in Chester who is making the journey over specially to give it a try."

Overall we had a nice experience, however my dish was a little over seasoned for my liking

Lovely food and great service. Had an array of starters and opted for the Musakhan chicken main which was well seasoned and tender. The sumac infused bread along with the flaked almonds on top was divine.

I hadn’t eaten Palestinian food before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was in for a big surprise. The food was delicious, the serving staff were helpful and friendly, and the ambience was perfect. A real unexpected treat. Pro tip: book a table in advance as it gets jam-packed.

I recently tried the 8-hour slow-roasted Jericho lamb at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful. In addition to this dish, everything else we tried was also fantastic. The restaurant is small, but charming. A visit to Didsbury to try their Palestinian cuisine, vegan/vegetarian options, and enjoy their great service is definitely worth it.

The appetizers were more impressive than the main course. The fish was tasty, but not exceptional, and I couldn't see why it had won awards. It did its job and filled me with enough flavors. I had expected it to be outstanding, but it didn't quite reach that level. The restaurant is a pleasant and charming establishment with attentive and friendly staff, making it worth a visit. I will try other dishes next time.

Fantastic place! Great food, nice vibes, friendly staff, can't fault it. We ordered mini plates batata harrra, hummus lamb shawarma, falafel. Then as mains we ordered Mujadarra (veg dish with rice and lentils and sauce) and Shish Taouk (chicken kebab, smoked rice, sauce). All food was very tasty! this place is halal and doesn't serve alcohol but they do have a nice selection of non alcoholic drinks. Highly recommend this place!

this place was recommended to me by my client, as I was past the work from earth. the first time that there are ever Palestinians eating. the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I was warmly welcomed by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain and recommend the dishes. eating was absolutely heavenly I never tasted so tasteful, which was so complicated. the humble was silky smooth with fine hints of seasoning and garlic through them. the brot with which it was served was warm, which was an excellent note on the plate. I ordered the chicken dish and it was juicy tender and the meat fell from the bone. I can not recommend this place very enough or explain the aromen in a wise way that d...

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I have seen some terrible reviews of la casita online, but if a person who writes online restaurant reviews teaches them everything if others are not completely legit. So I ignored them and went anyway and I am glad that I did it because it was a really delicious, good price menu with great friendly service. rich and I shared the choriqueso and the Guacamole shell to start. the choriqueso, as they may guess, is a tonne chorizo with a tonne melted cheese. Of course, that was **** delicious. the guacamole was also good, I am not sure what was achieved by being in a tortilla bowl, but it has definitiw nothing distracted. for the net I had tacos el pastor and rich had fajitas with huh and chorizo. the tacos were not strange hard dishes here and the filling very tasty. if I had any complaints here, it would be that the meat had a light "chalky " aftertaste, so possibly I would try to visit another taco filling on another. the hot sauce that comes with the tacos is pretty **** hot, they believe when they say that. rich 's only complaining was that the fajitas came with a large amount of filling and only two small tortillas. for drinking I had a bottle sol and a very good, very strong margarita. rich had a pint store and one around and koks. for two appetizers, two main and four drinks we paid about 50 pounds, which I thought was pretty good. I will be back in any case! I just hope that it will keep around the companies, as it seems to come and go in this place (so they will support them! ."
