Every time I come here I get a warm reception from coral and Jo beautiful setting. Great little pub for a drink and some dinner.

Lovely food, pleasant and really friendly service from Courtney and other staff. I ate here for three evenings. Thank you very much!

Stayed next door and booked a table for dinner on line, quick and simple to do. Arrived and shown straight to our table and was served by Sophie who took our drinks order. Great choice of food including a list of specials. The food arrived which was hot and plentiful and tasted lovely. Followed this with a desert again spot on. All round impressed and would definitely recommend. Thanks again to Sophie for the great service and chat.

Very happy. We have visited this place many times but usually for a quick cup of tea and coffee. The staff are always pleasant, the place is clean and it is a lovely environment. Tonight, the young lady who greeted us was once again friendly and efficient. Initially, we were there just for tea but ended up having a meal. The lady understood our needs and was totally accommodating. The food was of a great standard, excellent portion, and served as requested. I didn't get her name but will do next time however, as mentioned above, we find all the staff to be excellent. Thoroughly recommended by us.

Sunday lunch on the afternoon of 8th September: truly excellent food, exceptionally good service and a very good ambience at Bakers Arms (Waltham Abbey). We had roast turkey and roast beef, followed by a delicious salted caramel sundae! Indeed, I was more than very impressed by the (blatantly) hard working staff who run a very tight ship here and they were obviously very customer orientated. Our server Ellie could only be described as excellent : a very bubbly individual and full of energy, attended to all our requirements with a magnificent smile! First a tip: Ask for a table away from the kitchen as the music playing in there was fighting with the ambient music in the restaurant so you just get a cacophony of noise. We visited on a Sunday and first looked at the drinks menu. No prices on a lot of the drinks and was told that was because the prices changed from pub to pub. We had one starter and two nibbles. The calamary starter was tough. The Cottage pie croquettes had a nice taste but were so dry that they were unpleasant to eat and the honey and grain sausages had no taste at all.
