Just great, incredible menu, great service, great atmosphere

Wonderful restaurant. Unique experience, there is no menu, just what the chef makes. Very inexpensive but incredibly good.

Are you allowed to smoke?! And inside too! My friend, who is black, was always given all the leftovers without asking. This really hinders.

You eat what there is. Only a few decisions are necessary: water with or without, wine red or white... (Red is more recommended) Tastefully!

A little adventure with a unique atmosphere. Food is ok so far, it's more the surroundings and the hosts that create the charm. Price performance completely ok.

I think it's nice that there's still a grotto like this in the middle of Ascona. I'd like to say one thing to all the grumpy people: in the end, everyone finds the price-performance ratio to be good and their plates are empty. If you come in high season, it's certainly your own fault

Really amazing experience. No menu, you just come and you will be served a delicious meal after the other. The house red wine was also exceptional and very easy to drink. And in the end you get the best Limoncello you can find. Take advantage of the experience, even the prices are very fair for Switzerland.

We were blind and we were confused about what was going on. There is no menu, only the set menu they bring out in courses. Start with bread and salami. You will ask if you want salad (cost extra). Next, there's pasta. Then they serve you meat and polnta. Then follows a cheese plate and a dessert type. They also give you two glasses that you can use to drink their home made alcohol. We tried their nut brandy (Nocino), grape brandy and Limoncello Staff speak a little English, and he tried hard to explain our questions. The menu price was 16 CHF per person. Drinks (water, wine, etc.), salads, espresso and liqueur dishes include drinks. Overall we thought it was 5 stars for experience and atmosp...
