"the food was topp, the service that has been caring for us as well, as there is nix to suspend. the stern abg was available for calling from restaurant to our reservation. we had reserved over the web page at 20:30 as it was the only time without waiting list. we also received a system-generated reminder for this date on the afternoon. At 19:30 the restaurant called if we were still coming, we would be expected to be 19:00 clock. I explained we had reserved 20:30. that can't be, we're closing at 22:00, that would be impossible. After we arrived and I showed the emails with the appointment confirmations, we would have expected at least an oral apology. that unfortunately remained, there was only the indication that the system probably does not function properly. as said the star abg came because of the way and wise on the phone and the lack of apology. that has a otherwise perfect evening a bit saddened."

Ein gelungener Geburtstag im Ballenberger. Sehr gute Gastlichkeit. Stimmiges Ambiente das Essen war sehr gut und die passenden Getränke, rundum zufrieden. Mehr braucht es nicht um einen tollen Abend zu verbringen. Grosses Dankeschön von der Lady in red

The appetizers were great, the main courses were served with the same sauce for poultry and beef.The waitress was very unfriendly to my husband. HE ordered dessert and she brought it TO ME with unacceptable comments about men and women. Please remember that it is not your job to comment on the food preferences of your guests.

Grundsätzlich war es sehr gut, das Essen lecker, der Service sehr zuvorkommend, das Ambiente sehr ansprechend: insgesamt ein schöner Abend. Aber es gibt einen faden Beigeschmack: für das 4 Gänge-Menü zu zweit 2x Aperitif, 1 kleines Bier, 1x 0,1 Weißwein, 2x Dessertwein läßt man einfach mal 200€ liegen. we were very satisfied, all fresh and very tasty, great ideas and beautiful dressed. we had brains and filetsteak, both excellent. great scampis sensational. good wine recommendation, many thanks for 2 nice evenings. the breakfast is also highly recommended. freshly baked croissants, the best touch with spectacular at all, avocado with brot absolutely brilliant and great coffee

Auch wenn ich grundsätzlich Restaurants bevorzuge, die keine allzu umfangreichen Speisekarten haben, war hier die Auswahl abends doch allzu eingeschränkt. Die Teller sahen ansprechend aus, das Essen erfüllte meine Erwartungen aber leider nicht. Die einzelnen Geschmäcker waren zu wenig herausgearbeitet und etwas mehr Würze wäre begrüssenswert gewesen. Bedient wurden wir freundlich und zuvorkommend.
