"... and irritatingly diffident service. I had breakfast here on a recent trip to Paris, since it was close to my hotel. The petite dejeuner Francais was quite good. Fresh squeeze OJ (for an additional price), really fresh croissant, good baguette (though served with rather...typical, mass market jam). Service, though, was of the (sadly) typical French cafe variety ... diffident, unengaged, put out (especially when I used a napkin from a neighboring table to mop up some coffee (that the waitress herself had spilled)."

Very good reception, service is nickel, dishes are really excellent and well done. I have nothing to say about this place. Its location gives an open and bright view. Great space.

very good bistro, very nice servers, the atmosphere is friendly. young people as they are customers is just as friendly as the staff. We were served by the young "loic", always on board! I highly recommend!

It had been a while since I had not returned to the Metro Bistrot ... I found the pleasure and a better comfort in front of my cup of tea. And Daphnea with his greedy burger, especially appetizing! All right!

Good location, nice atmosphere, in the night lights it looks nice and welcoming. Menu has many options and the food was tasty. The waiters spoke english which is always positive. Nothing bad to say about this bistro.

Just fine! The welcome is rather pleasant, the servers are very useful. I ate a good strogonoff beef to fall on the ground despite I put a dish because my dish was a little hot. But overall, it was very correct, I will come back without hesitation.

It was late and we were hungry. The service was prompt if a little brusque. We had steak which was cooked to my companion’s liking but the roast chicken I had was overdone. This was a pity because I think it was a good quality...chicken. The frites and salad that accompanied both dishes were good.

Nothing much there except the nice terrace overlooking Place Gambetta. And the old style bistro decor inside with tiled floor, zinc bar, wine cellar, leather chairs. We came early for lunch. We had a table for on the terrace. Our waitress forgot about us...and was not pleasant. After too long waiting she brought cocktails, ham and cheese crepes, a garden salad, rib eye with fries, salmon tartar as dish of the day, half pints of draft Brasserie cuisine was average, nothing more. Too bad.

Located next to the Gambetta Metro stop and walking distance to the Number bus stops, and is filled with locals after work. We stopped for a typical Paris breakfast, cafe, croissant, and tartines, good with a pleasant wait staff. Stopped again after walking around...the city and despite a good looking list of daily specials we opted for the entrecote and frites with a half bottle of wine. Our waiter was pleasant and understanding of our poor French. Dinner was good and for Paris, a good price. Recommended.
