"Went today in a large group of 11. The owner sat us and told us about the history of the restaurant. Most of the dishes are his late mother’s recipes. His father was a sweet old man sitting on the balcony above the restaurant he came down to give out cookies to the young children eating at the restaurant. Instead of ordering, the owner sent out large, family style dishes his favorite mother’s recipes. Everything was outstanding. Fried seafood platter was perfectly fried and well seasoned. Zucchini spaghetti was delicious with smoked mozzarella. And my favorite was the rigatoni with fresh caught squid (he showed us the picture of the squid caught that day). Definitely give Donna Clielo a try we are so happy we did! Very affordable prices. And let the owner curate your meal if he offers too! Especially if you are a large group!"

Not usually one to write a review but had to share this place. Amazing little restaurant in Praiano. Would recommend that everyone in the area comes in for a meal and a drink.

perfetto. we set ourselves before we go to the beach for a little snack. the service, eating, the atmosphere and even the playlist, everything was so pleasant. among all places in this beach we chose this place because of the different colored furniture: all foods that were worn to the tables looked very delicious. grazie.

a corner of peace between Positano and Amalfi. a praiano, as a woman clelia you can breathe the true sense of the coast and traditions of the local fishermen. great fish, the spectacular raw, all however served in a dream frame between lantern and full moon that mirrors on the sea. to recommend for a romantic evening but also among friends View menu

family-run restaurant, delicious dishes that have all the sea goto that you can also admire in front of you while eating. staff not kind, more (as I was at home). quality is excellent and for this you pay the right. this summer we celebrated the 80th anniversary of my beautiful grandmother and we were great! super recommended, a certainty. When we're on the coast, we always go!

woman clelia big woman, especially a special mom! with sacrifice gave life to a small restaurant located in a suggestive corner of the pray, on the Amalfi coast. where you eat fresh fish and vegetables of grandfather angel. a wine card where Americans go crazy for the many labels that the patron savior selects every year. If it was open even in autumn, it would be a good thing to see the place and the sea in winter!

we stopped in this bar in this very suggestive place, since it faces in a cove with crystal clear water where we wanted to do only an aperitif. In the meantime, it felt like a fry and I must say it was really remarkable. Nice staff. Along the road that goes down there are posts with the blue strip that are free at the moment so if you find a place you can put them instead of going to the post for a fee at the end of the street. We really loved this restaurant. The service was very good, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. It has a history for traditional food but also offers a tasting menu option for a mix of the old with the new. We opted for salad, tempura gamberi and the traditional fried pizza that we’ve heard about .. it was all delicious and the gamberi was so fresh and juicy. Prices were very good given the quality of food and location. Would definitely recommend dining at this restaurant

I have been many times, this is a hidden gem! I am convinced if this was highlighted on any travel show this place would blow up it is so amazing. Food, home style service, and view, it has it all! Hidden Gem, Sea To Table The absolute freshest seafood with a beautiful presentation hospitality. Most likely you’ll be greeted and served by the owner Salvatore who has lived in the house upstairs. Originally owned by his grandfather since the 1930's with traditional Italian recipes from his grandmother. Bar Mare Petit, also known by Donna Clelia feels like you're a friend of the family .... with an amazing table on the beach! Make sure to take home a few bottles of his homemade Lemoncello.

"This is a very small restaurant located quite far away from the main harbour. Staff were friendly and food was okay, but definitely overpriced. My partner and I were very keen to visit this restaurant after reading some amazing reviews, however, we were disappointed when we arrived. The restaurant’s website claims it to be the most romantic restaurant in Italy and 6th most romantic in the world, however this is a bit of a stretch. The restaurant is very small, accommodating only around 6 tables in total, 5 of which had a sea view. Since we visited for dinner, we couldn’t appreciate the views very much as it was dark outside, but I imagine it to be lovely during the day. The food was pretty good, my partner ordered the lasagne and I had the shrimps (I thought I was ordering prawns as stated on the menu, but I was presented with shrimps). The lasagne was very good, but I was far from delighted with my seafood as it wasn’t as was described on the menu and was simply overpriced. Albeit, I thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu, and ended up getting another! The website asks for a €40pp deposit when making a reservation, which can be reached rather comfortably, however this restaurant is not ‘high end’ enough to demand such high deposits. There are plenty of other restaurants in Amalfi serving cheaper food, in more convenient locations with no deposit requirement. Overall, I didn’t have a terrible experience, but it did not live up to the standards I was expecting after reading so many raving reviews about it. It essentially felt like I was sat in someone’s living room that had been rearranged to look like a restaurant with average food and cheap table/chairs etc, making this experience far from ‘the most romantic dinner’."
