"We had lunch today there with few colleagues and i must say was very positive surprised by the beautiful terrace they have. The food was not bad as had calamari on the grill and some salad with a small starter and a beer. Most...of the colleagues took the calamari with gyros and rice. One had the bifteki, which i also tried. As I said food was not bad at all, but also not uau. The prices were more than fair some 8 9€ per dish, which is really good. However the weakest point the service. There are only male waiters and they were pretty arrogant and not prepared had no clue what is the daily soup and later on several small things, but the impression was not so good. Otherwise they also try to show presence asking how is food and so on, which is ok. I can imagine going again for lunch there place is nice and food is not bad. I have to get used to the waiters onlyNot sure if i will fo in the evening however."

we have eaten here several times and every time very happy with eating and service. as another cometator said, they treat you like old friends! They even remembered what we had ordered the previous visit.

I had dinner at this place 3 times during my trip to Munich, the food is delicious and the service is outstanding, they serve great Greek food and they give you ouzo when you ask for the bill. Wine is good red or white.

A nice spot in the outskirts of Munich. Easy access by car (parking space) and by train (s-bahn S3 6 minutes walk). The food is tasty and well presented, and the service is up to standard for an informal restaurant. Pricing is reasonable.

Was in Munich Nov 2012 and a local friend took me to Barka. Food was so good, went again the next night. Here I am back in Munich Nov 2013 and went back to Barka. Gyro platter is awesome. So is gyro meat baked with...tomato sauce and cheese. I came all the way from Florida to eat here!!!

I have been several times in this restaurant 15 years ago, and I came back there today since I live in Munich now. And I can say that the quality of food was and still is excellent! From the salad to the gyros to the...moussaka. Tasty and genuine. Liquors like tsipouros were appreciated as well. : Staff is nice and prices are honest. Much recommended to any good food lover!

as a foreigner coming to Germany, it is always a strange feeling to have a waiter driving customers in the manner of a sergeant major. so is the case at Barka. otherwise, food was rather average minus. i must say that i did not take...greek course but liver which was plainly grilled without any kind of creativity. the various starters tasted like directly coming from the supermarket. wine by the glass was very average. not very expensive, but no fun.
