Lovely friendly pub even with Covid 19 measures. Highly recommend

Well organised. Bought a t shirt only to find they have given me the wrong size.

friendly pub, series of ales, old and men. pool table, dog friendly. easy and comfortable.

I enjoyed a light lunch here. The food was of excellent quality, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

This is an excellent pub with well-kept beer and fantastic lunches during the summer. It's the best bar in the area!

crab sandwiches a1. came with a small salad and some crawl a trifle expensive, but so what. beer is a quantum place. worth visiting when they are close.

I had a fantastic day in Beer yesterday, August 25, 2022, and enjoyed a delightful meal and drink at the Barrel of Beer. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to all our needs. My husband and I are fortunate to have the surname Beer, so visiting the Barrel of Beer was a must for us!

we had a few afternoon drinks at this place, beautiful pint of atlantic and a easy to follow covid system at place. we even met someone we know and spent a few hours with them. in the evening it went over again and it was very busy and a bit rough, nothing wrong with it, only not for us, that is all. good pub though and nice staff.

great pub! if I lived in beer, I would be here a lot and the name helps who could not resist, a beer in the o' beer... in beer. it brought me in! very friendly and helpful staff that served a good pint of sharp 's 'atlantic ale' and the cod chips were something else. chips were in order, but the cod was local and came from the fish dealer at the beachfront. best fish I had in the old! the prices were reasonable. the toilets were recently renovated (the 'geste' I was not able to check the ladies. parking is pay display, but close.
