"Bilbao has a pretty poor local craft beer and microbrewery scene, but was VERY glad when I found out about Basquery. As I was staying in the old town, it was perfectly located for me for getting to the bus stop to get to Bilbao Airport, so made my way here for lunch. Bakery, meets bar, meets microbrewery and restaurant. Was most certainly my type of place! Ordered a beer while I waited for the restaurant to open for lunch, and was just a really good local hang out spot! While staff have limited English, I was able to get buy and ordered another beer, and the cheese and bacon burger. Kitchen area is in full display right in front on you and will see your meal freshly prepared. Burger was excellent and really recommend this place if looking for something to eat."

Acudí dos días seguidos para desayunar. Nos sorprendió la calidad del desayuno, así como del café. El pan muy bueno, y el guacamole. Pienso que si pasas por Bilbao, deberías de acudir para tomar algo.

This could have been so much better if it was better run. Lack of information about the beers on display. Food was alright but pervading sense of problems dominated the busy staff. Could do with a business review and more focus on the customer experience.

Por desgracia ha bajado cuantitativamente la calidad del producto desde mi última visita. Pulled pork frío en hamburguesa, nachos hechos un amasijo inseparable y duro, hamburguesa de ternera media calidad. Es mi opinión). No puedo dejar de insistir en el buen hacer de los camareros, que siempre con una sonrisa sacan adelante su trabajo.

Fuimos antes de la hora a la que habíamos reservado y nos pasaron sin problema. Pedimos media tabla de quesos de entrante, vienen 3 tipos de quesos (trufado, manchego y azul), con nueces y pasas. De principal pedimos la hamburguesa de entrecot, que viene con una ración de patatas caseras muy ricas, y la pizza 5 quesos, que tiene un tamaño bastante grande. La masa estaba crujiente y no escasearon en quesos, estaba muy rica aunque también grasienta. De postre probamos la torrija, decente, nada a destacar. El servicio fue bueno y rápido, aunque podría ser mejorable, ya que el camarero que nos atendió no sabía responder nuestras preguntas y tenía que consultarlas recurrentemente con sus compañer...
