"We had dinner at this restaurant on different occasions while we were in Nice. The food was great, the scenery lovely, right on the beach. As previous guests have claimed, we had issues with the bill as they were always charging for the kids...menu that should be free according to IHG’s policy. However, it was sorted out quickly with no fuss. On two occasions, everything was great, the last time though, we waited about minutes for them to take our order. I went at some point to ask for a waiter and then they started to argue with each other on whom should serve the table we were seated (it was right in the middle of the joint). Also, on the same occasion, they forgot to bring the ice-cream that was included in the kids menu although we asked for it. Again, when we asked for the bill, I waited for more than minutes until I personally went to the cashier to pay. Of course, no tips that night. All this being said, you should try it for the food and scenery, the service is a lottery."

I was with my family and it was perfect. We stayed at one table with sea. Good cocktails and nice mixed flavors on the plates

Great view at night. The prices are normal. You can try also the Ìce cream after dinner, i liked too much. Nice to be early or reserve a table just on the sea by night.

We had very tasty meals whilst stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel. They had a limited children’s menu but not bad price at euros for drink, fish or burger ice cream. Arrive early to get a table whilst sun setting on the...beach. We found it to have Efficient staff and speedy service. Only bad part was that the ladies toilets were out of use so all had to use the gents! View menu

Just arrived from Canada, stopping for a visit in Nice on our way to our cruise! We wanted to be on the water and this was Perfect! Food was fabulous at lunch and so we came back for supper! Menu is the same and only...changes every months, but lots to choose from. Wednesday nights they have live music, we enjoyed it but could have been a bit quieter, it was a little difficult to carry on a conversation. Must Try: the panisses! YUM!

Called in for lunch to this restaurant which is in a lovely location, right on the beach and well laid out. Waited minutes to order and get a drink. Not acceptable! Food when it arrived, minutes after the arrival was very tasty, although...one part of the order was not served. The mille feuille was exceptional! It took some time to get the bill and the price was reasonable. It is such a pity that the service was so poor. Needs improvement to realize its potential. staff would be a good start?

We've visited a three times now. Once for a relaxing bottle of wine on the water after an airport drop, once for a business dinner in the middle of winter and most recently for a romantic summer evening meal on the sand. The setting is...perfect. There is absolutely nothing not to like about this place. Location is fabulous, parking is plentiful in the area, the staff are friendly, attentive and they all look so happy. The menu has a good varied choice of dishes and is presented very well. Most importantly, the level of service, food, welcoming is consistent at Bay Star. View menu

The best restaurant in town I recommend this restaurant There are a couple of aspects that make this restaurant so special, but the most important is the staff, the employees of this restaurant make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in....They attend you with kindness and professionalism, they do whatever it takes to give you a unique experience. A very special thanks to Ryan( I think it's spelled like that) a professional and very nice guy, also thanks to Ugo and the tall blonde girl, I don't know her name. Thank you all for the good service and the delicious food. See you next time !!!!!

Lovely setting and the staff are very good. However we went there having looked at their online menu and two specific things gravad lax and fillet steak appealed to us as good fallback options. However, having turned up at our booked table, we...found that neither were on the menu. Very disappointing an entrecote is really not a good alternative however much people try and say it is. We ended up having a couple of tapas OK in particular the cucumber and tomato in raita and then shared starters as there were not mains which appealed. The crevettes starter was also a disappointment with only small crevettes shrimps Next time we will ring before booking to check what is on the menu. The burger...
