"I readily accepted the invite to the special afternoon tea, having been before and enjoyed it. On arrival we were each given a ticket, before being shown upstairs by a waitress dressed as a Hogwarts pupil great start. A full size cut out of Hagrid greeted us at the top of the stairs, with Severus Snape just around the corner directing us to the Great Hall . The tables were decorated with Daily Prophet tables cloths, with menus printed to resemble the Marauders Map absolutely brilliant! The lights were hung with floating candles such attention to detail. The food was all Harry Potter themed, starting with pumpkin soup, and there 's even a golden snitch to finish. absolutely wonderful! Well done Bedwellty House."

After tubing at the Festival Park myself, my daughter and her friend popped in to Bedwellty Park to have lunch. Unfortunately we hadn’t booked so they couldn’t squeeze us in. Pity because the Sunday lunch menu looked very good.

Awful, cold looked like school meals rip off for what we paid. Go to witherspoon, cheaper and nicer. Staff couldnd have been trained, ignored when we told them it was cold and couldn't eat it,my p.ate went back untouched and no response or apology disgusting

We stopped here for lunch and tea and had great fun talking with the server about local history. So we followed up and watched a video about their local political hero. Thi provided good insight about the impact of mining on the history and development of the area.

Nice setting, had afternoon tea for a large group of us. The cakes were all quite nice although to much for me and could of done with a few more sandwiches. Staff were very helpful always topping up tea/coffees and we had a pleasant afternoon. The roast lunches being served looked lovely and would visit again to try one.

This is a lovely park intelligently managed and the flowers all seasons are lovely x also woodland animals include nuthatch bullfinches, squirrels, robins, frogs toads, wrens and of course ducks. The house looks appealing within the grounds and the tea rooms are supposed to be lovely also although in lockdown closed for now.

A lovely place been before but disappointed yesterday. There was too much going on there Sunday lunch, teas a christening also doing burgers outside. This resulted in us feeling rushed. Our soup was boiling nearly burnt my mouth. Lunch was ok but not hot enough and had to wait ages for dessert. . I just think they had too much going on there with the result Sunday lunch wasn't as good as usual.

Came here twice during my brief stay in Tredegar for tea snacks each time. The staff are excellent, the service fast efficient. They had a selection of cakes including a special offer cake each time we went custard slices the first time black forest gateaux the second both of which we tried were delicious. There was a small food crafts market on Sunday afternoon of which we bought plenty so the cafe opened an outdoor service area doing hot snacks of burgers, hot dogs etc. Along with ice creams cold drinks as well. There was also an art exhibition the park itself is lovely to walk around on a nice day sunny day.

My friend and I took our girls along for afternoon tea here on the weekend as they do a special 'children 's afternoon tea ' as well. Children 's tea consisted of sandwiches, crisps, mini pizza, fruit kebabs, mini sausages, jelly and a whole range of yummy cakes. They also got a little champagne glass filled with smarties and a fairy cake when we were served our scones. Adults tea was also very good with the usually savoury and sweet treats. Very enjoyable, kids loved pretending they were princesses with their champagne (lemonade in champagne glass! Staff were also very friendly and reasonably priced. £9 children and £14 adult.
