I do like the Bel & Dragon chain.there is another on Eton Bridge in Windsor, however I do think they are quite expensive.

Delicious meal here tonight we really enjoyed the food which was beautifully cooked and presented the mussels were just the best. Also a lovely little snug for a tipple before heading back to our hotel. Definitely the highlight of our visit to Cookham.

One of the oldest coaching inns in England. Cosy venue with low wooden beams, roaring fire, selling food and drinks. Service is good, but can get quite busy and cramped at the bar. But I would recommend visiting for the atmosphere and quiet fire side chats. Service: 4 Location: 5
