I Used to come here for tepan menu since It changed a bit. But still it is very tasty and it is possible to enjoy the evening here.The new Benkay is very modern. Tasty sake, great sushi. And great tepanyaki.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Mitarbeiter, das Ambiente ist mit 3 Sterne, da es doch etwas kühl ist. Was mich auch einwenig gestört hat, dass das Essen sehr schnell hintereinander kam, da kann man etwas mehr an Zeitpuffer einteilen

Ein wirklich gelungener Silvesterabend mit einem wunderbar zubereitete Menü Ozeki mit Wagyu Filet direkt am Tisch. Ungezwungene Atmosphäre, nette Nachbarn, aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gern wieder. Herzlichen Dank für diesen angenehmen Jahresausklang.

Top Qualität, das Fleisch war sehr zart. Die Teppanyaki Zubereitung, der Koch und das Ambiente waren sehr professionell, gemütlich und toll anzuschauen. Das gesamte drumherum des Menüs waren sehr gelungen und geschmackvoll. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Tip top.

The entries were ok (sushi) but just...measured. The main dish was very nice and served along the cooking show. The dinner itself lasted hours approx...it was ok since we were among colleagues but... The final surprise was the bill, honestly very far to be...fair but, luckly it was not my duty that time...

Es war fantastisch! Ein schönes Erlebnis, die Zutaten werden direkt vor einem am Tisch zubereitet, teils flambiert zur Show, etc. Die Zutaten sind dabei alle hochwertig gewählt, u.a. wurde Wagyu Rind zur Wahl als Entrecote oder Filet zubereitet. Und es war ein traumhaftes Geschmackserlebnis. Die Weinbegleitung, welche hier unseren Wünschen nach dazu gewählt wurde war absolut passend und unseren Vorgaben entsprechend. Toll! Sehr empfehlenswerter Laden, wenn auch für besondere Tage, die man sich mal gönnen möchte. Wir schauen selbst gern ein paar Youtube Videos zu Teppanyaki, daher war es uns von der Show des Kochs her ein bisschen wenig, aber absolut ausreichend. Wer genauso freaky wie wir si...

Staff is very friendly. Waitresses were dressed traditionally but overall overpriced and low quality food. We had the Benkay teppanyaki menu which is the one with the Wagyu beef but were somewhat disappointed considering the price tag per person. We think the quality of...the meat was below average. Our gram Wagyu steak was chewy and far from tender. We feel you are simply better off taking a less expensive menu, you will not get the Wagyu beef but the meat you will be getting will be much more satisfying. The teppanyaki room has no external windows which is depressing. Decoration is equally depressing. There is carpet on the floor which was full of stains and far from hygienic. Don't put on...

I visited Benkay many times during the past years when ever l visit Düsseldorf and always sat at teppanyaki table. Last visit was on thursday september We entered the place around o clock . out of teppanyaki table was...full and only one cook was serving for all those tables. Besides cooking he was picking up everything he needed from kitchen himself !!! We almost sat one hour with the hope of another cook or at least some help to one and only chef would arrive . we asked to one of the waiters if we would be served in the next one hour....as it was pm and the place close at after checking with the kitchen he said that he would not quarantee to serve us within the next one hour !!!
