The very best place to eat and to stay in Saalfelden. Franz and Sonja are great hosts. Food is always excellent.

We had dinner with a group of 25. Very good glühwein on the terrace with a view down to Saalfelden in the valley. Nicely decorated interior. Great and fast service. Very good food. Try the 'Ripperlen ' and the Apfelstrudel with Vanilla sauce.

we are always very happy to come to this restaurant located in a particularly beautiful environment. because of honest and good eating too fair praise and the good mood that goes out from the hearty wetsleuten, we are looking forward to the next visit.

on one of the most beautiful places in the environment, with a panoramic view that you can only rarely enjoy, just fits everything: from the imperial marr to the legendary ripperl, the friendly staff, the rustic spaces and the schnapserl at the close. always worth a visit - only to recommend!

The venue itself and the views are great. It is a shame that staff is not very friendly (which is an understatement). During our next visits to Huggenberg we took the short stroll to Forsthofalm, where the owner (Hilda) is very kind. Forsthofalm does not...have an extensive menu, but the venue itself is interesting and the views are magic.

We stopped to eat and drink here half-way down while we were sledding down the Biberg hill for our Valentine's day date (by night.) We had a really unique experience sitting in this wonderful rustic surrounding eating traditional pork ribs with sauerkraut, baked potatoes and bread dumplings with lots and lots of beer. The staff is very friendly and polite and I would recommend for everyone who comes to Saalfelden to try this experience while sledding in the winter time or just hiking during summer.
