"Staff very good, location excellent! Food poor and expensive! Called in on the way to Hereford Hospital and in need of a drink and food. Ordered Fish Chips with Mushy Peas. Drinks were Pot of Tea and a Coffee. Teapot was chipped around rim and lid cracked with dirty stain. Coffee ok, but very small cup. Fish Chips arrived and it was obvious that the Fish and the Chips were frozen before preparation, very tasteless and covered in excessive batter. I managed mine as we were in a rush and I was very hungry. My wife struggled to eat hers due to the quality. The staff were very good when I complained, but all they were allowed to do was knock off the drinks price. Still had to pay £25.00 for two basic meals that were very poor! It is a shame that the food department lets the whole store down."

Chips on their own £2.95, two meagre slices of ham and chips £11.95! Not happy. When I questioned it was told no refund. Will not be back.

Noisy, very busy cafe, long queues and slow service. We only had juice and a scone, which was bland and dry so can’t really comment on the food but I wouldn’t want to spend too long here.

The restaurant had a very friendly staff and was nicely decorated with spacious seating. We enjoyed some hot coffee and a tasty fruit scone, but it was a bit disappointing that the scone seemed hard and not freshly baked for the price. View menu

I recently visited the Pantry at Oakchurch, which was renamed and refurbished after the COVID-19 lockdown. I was impressed by the incredible transformation and want to commend Bruce and Sandra for their hard work and dedication. Well done on the fantastic effort!

I went for lunch while visiting the center and found that the pots of tea were very affordable. Later, I tried the carvery with a selection of meats and a variety of veggies. I opted for the small plate which was more than enough. The prices were also very reasonable for a garden center. View menu

I wondered if they have found out how to cook roast potatoe, or chips..they have not. they are still the same dry offering . Either frozen and oven cooked to death , or you need a new cook. My wife had chilli with rice again so dry probably done in a microwave. you must be able to do better.

4 of us went here for our Sunday lunch carvery and we all had different meats these being Beef, Pork, Lamb and Turkey. Sad to say the turkey was the only decent meat to be had. The beef was tough, the lamb was fatty beyond belief why this was even carved and put on the plate is questionable), and the pork wasn't much better. Even the veg, of which there was a fair choice, was overcooked and too soft and the roast potatoes were under cooked. I had heard Oakchurch butchery and it's meat was very good so was expecting much better than what we got. We all left disappointed and would not go back or recommend.
