"Our friends who are living in Frankfurt took us to this adorable restaurant while we were in town. It is an adorable place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Fortunately, the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside at the beergarden style picnic...tables. Even though it was quite busy for a midweek evening, menus were offered promptly and orders taken within a reasonable amount of time. My husband had delicious jager schnitzel and I had the eggs with green saucequickly becoming my favorite Frankfurter meal. Two meals, three beers, and one dessert came to approximately euros. We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and good food here and hope to return before our departure from Frankfurt"

Came into Frankfurt late and needed a good dinner and came across this restaurant. Very cool historic building and excellent food! Definitely recommend the schnitzel and green sauce, the goulash and the handkase appetizer. Very nice people and great atmosphere. Will be coming back soon

While staying for business at the Best Western IB hotel just across the street, this local German place was the meager selection of restaurants in the area. Counter to low expectations, I had a very tasty and absolutely fresh Warteschnitzel ham, onions, and cheese on...top and a halfliter of good beer for about Euros total. The table service from Claudia was great, as she was funny, attentive, and skillful

the beer and apfelweinlokal is operated by the hotel opposite, as is similar. the farm has beautiful old chestnuts, but they do not even see because various sprouts seal the farm. stupid only that they are white and under a tree they collect dirt. the personal effort and almost as attentive. eat, rather kantine style. unfortunately it was removed from the list, although there has been a hosting place for centuries. with the quality this will be the next 100 years hard.

Was staying at the Best Western hotel and wanted to go out for dinner. There are not many choices in the area within walking distance so I decided to try this restaurant. I had the grilled pork knuckle and mashed potatoes. The price was right...but I have actually had a better tasting pork knuckle in Thailand. The night that I visited they were not that busy but the service was very slow. The time to order after sitting down was about minutes, about minutes to get my food and when I asked for my check I waited another minutes...I had to get the waiters attention again in order to get the check. If you are not in a hurry and want an average German meal...this is the place to go
