Beautiful pub, excellent beers on tap including small creatures and Timothy Taylor landlord, which is beautiful to see south! Had the chicken carving and it was amazing! Super courteous staff and beautiful sea Kelp hand wash and hand lotion! I look forward to returning! Thank you.

We had Sunday roast last week. Meal was disappointing to say the least. I had tiny portion of pork belly which was tough. Cauliflower cheese barely had any cheese, mainly flour and milk. There was barely there vegetable consisting of a tiny carrots and two sprouts of broccoli. There was no crispness to the potatoes and were still hard. Overall pretty diabolical meal. My partner had roast chicken and did not fare any better. Maybe Blue Anchor is relying simply on the location and view of the river to pull in customers. I definitely won't be a repeat customer.

Shows one of my favorite pubs in London. The view is amazing, literally sitting on the banks of the river. Many seats inside, but the tables outside is where you want to be. Although it is really busy in the evenings and weekends (especially when there is a little sun), we have always managed to take a place. But if you can't, you are more than welcome to sit on the steps/ on the wall that walks to the river. The pub is located next to a rowing club that adds more character and you can often watch people sailing down the river. Service is always fast and friendly, with good beer on tap and food. Still good.

Hands down one of my favourite pubs in London. The view is amazing, literally sitting on the bank of the river. Plenty of seats inside but the tables outside is where you want to be. Although it gets really busy in the evenings and at the weekend (especially if there is a little bit of sun), we've always managed to grab a seat. But if you can't you're more than welcome to sit on the steps/on the wall that's bordering the river walk. The pub is right next to a Rowing Club which adds more character and you can often spot people sailing down the river. Service is always fast and friendly, with good beer on tap and food. Still good.
