I was there for a private party. The entire restaurant was just for us. I thought it very good. Not been at any other time

We were there for a party. Amazing welcoming service, wide menu choice and talented chef. Tried to book not long afterwards but fully booked! All the food beautifully cooked, and tasty properly seasoned sauces. Definitely worth a visit.

Have had the pleasure in Visiting David his fabulous staff at Blue Check restaurant on numerous occasions with my family whether for milestone birthdays or wedding anniversary events. Always enjoyed their food, service and just the general atmosphere of the restaurant! Thank you.

Wow, what an amazing place. The owner is absolutely wonderful. What a gem! We had such a brilliant time celebrating my friend's 50th birthday. We were made to feel so welcome. The food was great, the disco was really good and the service was fantastic. The owner leads by example and the staff are truly fantastic as a result. Highly recommend as a party/event venue. You will have a brilliant time.

A great place to celebrate any occasions. On Thursday evening, I had fantastic night out with my friends. At the restaurant, were also other groups of people celebrating their birthdays and anniversaries. They had a great singer accompanying the celebrations and singing amazing songs, so people could dance with one another. The food was good and tasty. It was a set menu for that night. We booked the whole restaurant for our golden wedding anniversary party and we’re absolutely delighted with everything. The tables were laid and decorated beautifully, there was a huge amount of canapés at reception (which unfortunately were not noticed by many guests because they were too busy chatting). The menu choices and food portions were excellent, drinks were flowing, the staff were very attentive, plenty of space for dancing. We received great feedback from our guests and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the restaurant for just a meal or a party.

To be fair, I was a bit worried because 15 of us were celebrating Mum's 80th. Usually, with such a big table, the food is mediocre at best. Very happily surprised to find they have everything under control. The food all came out within a minute. All food was perfectly cooked, including 6/7 steaks. The menu provided several selections , with options to change some items. Service and staff were excellent, with some good characters. The after dinner disco was fab, with the DJ reading the room and playing the correct music to suit. A fabulous evening, thank you, and I will definitely be coming back. Totally recommend to all.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Last night we had a celebration with a group of 50 in this amazing restaurant. The owner (Dave) was extremely helpful and friendly right from the very beginning when we first booked and nothing was too difficult for him thank you. On the night all the staff were friendly and smiling. The food was delicious and every plate of mains was served hot even though the speeches longer than they should have. The starters and desert were also out of this world! The atmosphere was jovial and unitng as there were different parties but we all felt like one.
