"Chose this venue as it was on the River and had pretty views despite crispy weather. From start to finish the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The menu choice was great and i liked the fact that they changed the specials. Food was delicious. We were there for a small gathering and the met all our special needs and was appreciated for their efforts. I had also been there for breakfast a few days earlier which is what led to our lunch reservation. The venue had a lovely breakfast menu with plenty of choice and the venue was bright and inviting. Personally i think it is great value for money. We were not dissapointed with any of the visits. Keep it up!!"

This fantastically located pub offers brilliant food in a very nice location. Went for Sunday lunch. Food was terrific.

Booked a table online on top floor but not available when we arrived. Found the place lacked coziness and atmosphere and a lot of items off the menu. Overpriced for quite ordinary food and wine. Parking is a nightmare. Such a unique spot on the Thames and so much potential.

Came here for lunch on Sunday and were seated upstairs. We ordered starters and then 2 roast dinners. The restaurant got busy but service and food were very good. I had the best sage and onion pork stuffing and crème brulee that I've ever tasted! A nice venue with riverside views.

This is a really lovely looking restaurant right on the lock. It is very modern looking and the huge glass windows make for great views onto the water. It really is a stunning looking place. However like many places that have a great location the food was meh. Breakfast was poor quality and not cooked as asked. Service was good. Would return for drinks but not food.

We’ve had mixed experience here before particularly with service. This time however, food, service and atmosphere were all great. Waitress was attentive and on it with requests. We had some of the specials posh cod and chips which came with scallops and prawns excellent). There is a small price premium for dining on the Thames but on this occasion it was justified. Will be back.

Such a shame. Looks a lovely venue. Was looking for somewhere to host my mum 80 birthday celebrations. Didn’t even get through was told they weren’t interested in the reservation as it was between may and October. Wouldn’t think any business was able to turn down a midweek lunch booking immediately without getting any information or checking availability !!!! But it seems that’s not the case for this business

Beautiful restaurant with incredible river views. The staff were 10/10 friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu, flexible and attentive. Our meals were well presented, delicious and offered good value. The menu offers something for everyone and suited all of us. Really cannot fault it was perfect in every way. Dog friendly area is a bonus for us. We will be back ... lots! Well done to every team member.

Went for a celebration dinner and the Boathouse didn't let us down. The lamb and duck dishes we ordered were recommended pink so we went with that and they were the pinkest dishes we've been served...and delicious. The interior isn't as cramped as a lot of other restaurants which meant my new found claustrophia that often kicks in at many restaurants after a while never paid a visit. Great view of the Thames surging by after a fair bit of recent rain. Recommended.
