"We had three dinners and three breakfasts at this restaurant, which is decorated in a nice French bistro style with brass railings, creating a somewhat dark atmosphere. The serving staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast offered a good variety of options delivered to your table, including high quality bacon and sausages. Before dinner, you were presented with three types of delicious bread. Our meals ranged from good to very good, with the first evening being a bit disappointing with a tough steak and overly salty and overcooked duck. However, the other meals were tasty and well presented, including delicious risotto and desserts. The restaurant also offered a good selection of reasonably priced wines. It was comforting to see that the restaurant remained popular during these uncertain times."

Ate here as part of our stay at the Royal Hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. Because it was part of the package it was very good value. The food was delicious, with lots of choice and service was great.

food was really very good, plenty of chocie, and good size portions, at a reasonable price. Staff couldnt have been better polite, friendly, and immaculately turned out. Restaurant was clean, only negatives decor is tired, and plastic plants really date it

I called on Thursday to make a reservation for 2 for dinner the following Monday, but was informed that they were fully booked. I inquired about Tuesday and received the same response. Despite noticing that the restaurant was only a quarter full at 7pm and 9pm on both Monday and Tuesday, we were not able to dine there. It seemed like they did not want our business.

I had dinner at Brasserie Brunel today with my husband and it was a wonderful experience. The pear and blue cheese tart was the highlight and the sea bass with lemon risotto and the white chocolate creme brûlée were also perfect! The staff were very polite and friendly and the restaurant was very clean, organized and comfortable. I hope I can come back to Bath and pay another visit to Brasserie Brunel very soon.

I had a dinner with my wife at Brasserie Brunel, as I was a guest in the Royal Hotel. The food was incredibly good (seriously, I'm not joking: a straight 10 out of 10 , and the staff were so polite and respectful that made us really feel good during the dinner. My choices were the camembert for starter, then the lamb and a creme brulé for dessert. All were great, but seeing the couple in the other table ordering the Eton Mess made me want to try that too. :

I had traveled from Bristol and planned to have breakfast in this historic hotel arriving at 7am. The night Porter a very amiable chap said breakfast is served from 7.30am. I was refused point blank not only breakfast but also a coffee. We are far too busy to entertain and provide such a service. He advised this is the policy of the Hotel Manager. I was duly directed to other adjacent establishments. Very poor show and attitudes. My investigations from Companies House reveal this Hotel is owned by a private company. I wonder how fellow Directors feel? After Covid and now the cost of living crisis with people spending less do they endorse such a policy refusing my custom and money and moreove...
