Brocco On The Park - Menu

One of favourite restaurants in Sheffield. Some of the tastiest food and the menu is refreshed seasonally. Maybe specify if you want a gap between dishes as they can come all at once.

Sunday lunch service was great however the food was really below par, much worse compared to previous evening visits. Lamb and chicken both overcooked; £18 fish scampi starter wasn’t well seasoned and overpriced for portion size. Had to pour own wine even after paying £40+ a bottle. Can see why it hasn’t made Michelin 2023!

This is still a really great place. The food is lovely- the pig cheek was an utter revelation, but what elevates this above other small plate menus in the area was the superb service that took it to a very high quality experience. Attentive but unobtrusive was the mark of really professional front of house staff who know how to do it properly.

Sunday lunch problems.. Having been to Brocco many times since opening and never having anything but a lovely experience We were utterly shocked to have a really dreadful meal Sunday Very little choice on menu The Beef was rare to the point of raw, completely inedible and veg disappointing and dry nice gravy however Only ice cream left for pud, not great Please fix things Brocco

A promising menu (which is why we chose it). A nice space and ambience, well lit, quiet, welcoming. Its all very slick. It kicks off pretty good, but then: the portions are squiddly weeny, some of the dishes just don't work one prawn? Really? and allofasudden the prices look daft. Pretensions? Style? I don't know where the line is, but the staff had that kind of disdainful detachment that is verging on snotty. Underwhelmed, hugely.

I’ve been to Brocco several times in the past was looking forward to brunch there today with a friend. There was only one other table occupied and we were very disappointed with the food. I had a prawn taco dish which was ok but very tiny for the price like a taster. The waitress suggested a potato dish to supplement it, which was undercooked. My friend had a chicken burger dish with chips which looked unappetising she was unable to finish it. Sadly Brocco has been crossed off my list of restaurants.

We had been looking forward to coming to Brocco for ages but unfortunately we were very disappointed with the portion size, the quality and flavour of (very) small plates relative to the cost. What was more disappointing was the response we received from the staff, when we gave our feedback, who did not seem in any way bothered by our feedback and, on leaving we overheard a conversation with the chef who said let them complain, I don’t care. We won’t be back and sadly wouldn’t recommend given the poor customer service experience. Disappointed to say the least.

We came here last night with some friends. I was really looking forward to it however we left feeling completely underwhelmed. The small plates although well presented were tasteless and seriously lacked flavour. I think the chef needs to learn to season the food. For the money we paid I would have expected a lot more and I'm really not convinced that was fillet steak we were served. The service wasn't great and we left for a while waiting for drinks. Also the olives were terrible. We also had a draft blowing at our table all night as the front door was blowing open which no staff attended too so we were up and down shutting the door. Amazing food to really tease your palate. Food should be exciting and here it is. You have the Chefs plating up on the pass in front of you and you can see the care, attention,love and passion they have whilst doing it. We had many small plates but the star of the show for me would be the scallop dish. As a Chef myself it's very rare we get to fully enjoy food as we are constantly thinking what we could change and bring to the dish itself however this made me grin from ear to ear. Toffee and scallops?!?! Who would have thought it?! An amazing beautiful experience. In a way I fell back in love with food by just one bite.
