"I regularly meet friends for coffee at Flavours but twice recently I’ve had breakfast there. I can only say Flavours is a superb little cafe, run by husband and wife team Sandra and Michael. Don’t expect anything deep fried because Sandra cooks everything on the griddle and she does this to perfection. The portions are generous, the prices are so reasonable, the food is so tasty and of such good quality that I have nothing but praise for this wonderful venue as for value, I believe it is unbeatable. Become a regular and you become cherished and valued with a fair amount of good natured teasing from Michael thrown in for good measure. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly that you find the customers all talking to each other as well. An absolute gem of a place and I’m so glad that I live nearby."

"Lovely meal at Casa Zilli, really personal in their service and helped make our family birthday meal feel really special! Food was fantastic and they really couldn’t do more for us! Parking: Parking available, make sure you know where the correct entrance is as travelling in the dark can make it hard to find. Kid-friendliness: It’s an adult venue, however they do have a kids menu and were more than accommodating. Probably not the right venue for little children."

"Popped in here a month ago to see what the place was like... Peaceful and cosy, there are lots of little knick knacks to look at and some are even for sale! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we left. Overwhelmed by the choice of cakes on offer on the counter, I wished to try the afternoon tea, so we had to forego the beautiful creations for the three tiers of delights brought out on the stand. It was so delicious, I immediately booked for a table of 10 to celebrate my Mother 's 80th birthday. This fell last week, and we had the perfect afternoon with high tea for all. After glasses of non alcoholic prosecco for all, we were served the freshest, most well filled sandwiches (salmon and cream cheese, perfectly seasoned egg mayonnaise, and cream cheese, cucumber and chive ; just baked scones with cream and proper strawberry jam (not, as my Mum pointed out, red jam, but strawberry jam like they used to make, where you can actually taste the berries! ; and a selection of cakes, macarons, mini eclairs, and sherry glasses of a fruity mousse, topped with fresh fruit and gold lustre. The crowning glory was a cake so fresh it refused to stay in one slice as my Mum tried to portion it! (Please note, this was purchased/arranged as an extra. The tea was hot and plentiful and was refreshed over and over. The two gentlemen who man the shop are the sweetest most friendly chaps ever. As others have mentioned, they are both deaf, but this doesn 't hinder anything indeed I even made sure I leaned a few key words in BSL, which I 've loved and I was taught a few more whilst I was there as well. Everyone said it 's an absolute gem and I believe everyone has plans to return. I will definitely be going back, as I want to try more of those cakes!! Thank you for making a very special day absolutely perfect. An absolute credit to the village and surrounding area! <3 x"

"I tried to order some food over the phone on 3/10/23 at approximately 12.20 am for lunch. Unfortunately the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude to me when I asked some questions about their menu as I am looking for some typically Keralite food and not just dishes from a bog standard Indian takeway. She told me she had no knowledge of Keralite food and stated I do not need to know about Keralite food as it is written in the menu and we are in England anyway . If you insist on employing staff who have no knowledge of your cuisine being served, at least teach them to be polite and not racist when informing customers of their lack of knowledge. I suggest you sack this staff member."

"A few days ago, my mother and I dined at this restaurant and had an amazing experience! The dishes were fantastic, made with fresh ingredients. The sweet and sour pork and chicken with cashews in miso sauce were full of flavor. The prawns were cooked perfectly. I plan to return to this friendly and service-focused restaurant. I highly recommend Caterham Chinese Restaurant to everyone."
