"Situated in the box park amongst so many other pop up eateries Bukowski is one of the best. The homemade ketchup is sooooo good and I hate regular ketchup. The homemade salsa, the homemade mustard and the Mayo are also to die for. The burger does not fall apart when attempting to eat it. The beef patty tastes freshly ground, proper mince with no gristle. The burger is not greasy, tastes 'clean ' and doesn 't leave you stodged unlike many other burgers. The chips are delicious. The homemade lemonade was incredibly refreshing, with the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. Bukowski burgers I 'll be back for more. The chilli chips sound divine!"

Decided to have a look on trip advisor when we were in box park and this place came up with great reviews... They weren't wrong! Best burgers we have eaten in a very long time!

Today we visited Bukowski at Brixton Market. The food, the service was great. We really liked our burger. The beef patty, onions, and the homemade ketchup were mouthwatering!!!

First visit, really enjoyed it. Burgers were great and the home made ketchup was excellent. Tried the rebel Yell bourbon, never had it before but was pleasantly surprised. Will be back.

The best burger we had in a very long time, delicious meat and condiments. Box park is great for lunch as you visit the area, with a relaxed atmosphere and outdoor eating. I would definitely love to go back! View menu

I have been doing the usual list of best burgers in London but they didn't quite do it for me, then a friend took me to Bukowski: I had the Smokey Beast, it really was magnificent!! Staff also very friendly. So Kudos to Bukowski!

We had some fantastic burgers and fries at this place. Quick service that was quite alright. I had the cheeseburger that was really yummy. The veggi one was also quite ok. Especially the onion like sauce on the veggi burger was amazing. Will go again!Seating on the deck seems to be a bit chaotic though.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was lovely. We were seated promptly and received excellent service throughout our meal. We ordered the "Fat Gringo" and the "Red and Blue" dishes, along with some skinny fries, and everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place. View menu

I am a fan of Brixton market and Bukowski is a standout burger joint. However, I wanted to highlight the mango sorbet and tequila drink in this review. It was the perfect size for a delicious cocktail, with a sweet taste that wasn't overpowering or artificial. It was hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had. Even if you're not in the mood for a burger, I recommend stopping by Bukowski just to try this drink!

I really enjoy the vibe of Brixton Market/Brixton Village. It's becoming more upscale, but still manages to keep some of its original charm. Bukowski fits right in with the grungy atmosphere, offering high-quality ribs and burgers. My favorite dish is the ribs, which come with a delicious dry rub and wet sauce, served with hot pickles. The coleslaw and chips make great side dishes. The ribs are available in half and full rack sizes. Washing it all down with a Meantime lager or Yakima red beer keeps me satisfied for the day. The staff is friendly as well.

"A friend and I stumbled on to this neighbourhood restaurant by chance; no research, no booking, no expectations. We were then blown away by the quality of the food: wonderfully fresh fish, beautifully cooked. The service is also exemplary. I've always enjoyed calamari, but this was by far the best I've ever had: truly succulent and juicy. The mussels were almost as good, and the sea bream kept up the standard. The spiced quince with ice cream made a nice change from baclava in a Turkish restaurant (they still threw in some baclava). The owner, Tony, provides excellent recommendations — make sure you take them! He knows what's fresh that morning, and how his wife cooks it. The bill comes hand-written, and Tony forgot to include the wine (obviously I corrected him). I can't remember the last time a restaurant bill made a mistake in the customers' favour! No service charge is included, and it deserves a lot more than the usual 12.5%. This is a wonderful, old-fashioned restaurant, run by a charming old couple, committed to maintaining old-fashioned standards. The food is more than great and the prices more than reasonable. Service is personal, honest and responsive (providing Tony turns his hearing aid on). Tony warns you if anything you wanted was bought in, rather than home-made. Why don't unassuming but wonderful restaurants like this get Michelin stars?"
