"In der Nähe des S-Bahnhofs Hermsdorf findet man im Sushi Haus - neben dem namensgebenden Sushi-Fließband - ein sehr gutes und authentisches thailändisches Restaurant, welches sich zurecht großer Beliebtheit erfreut und in der warmen Jahreszeit auch über eine sehr schöne Terrasse im Freien verfügt.Sushi habe ich noch nicht hier probiert (dafür empfehle ich den unschlagbaren Gaideck in der Heinsestraße), aber die thailändischen Speisen haben uns noch nie enttäuscht und können auch telefonisch bestellt und dann abgeholt werden. Mit der Lieferung dauert es leider recht lange, weil die Restaurants in dieser Gegend wohl kaum Fahrer finden können.Die Gastgeber bieten einen sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Service und die im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes gläserne Küche zeigt, dass auch dort augenscheinlich Wert auf Authentizität gelegt wird."

"Das Aanjal ist kein Touristen-Hotspot und hebt sich angenehm von den Touristenfallen in Berlin-Mitte ab.Eines der wenigen sehr guten indischen Restaurants der Stadt mit authentischer und frischer Zubereitung!Die Preise bewegen sich im unteren Bereich. Gute Cocktails kosten dauerhaft 3,90 Euro. Das Personal ist superfreundlich.Nachteil: Es ist abends schnell voll und nicht alle Tische liegen gut. Das Publikum ist der günstigen Preise wegen stark durchmischt.Die Büffet-Abende "All you can eat" einmal im Monat für ca. 10 Euro sollten besser vermieden werden, denn sie ziehen Sippschaften an, deren Verhalten dem Ambiente abträglich ist."

"As soon as we sat down a waiter came around, served us and helped explaining the different dishes. The inside is air-conditioned while the outside is good to sit even when it's next to a huge road. Also the service outside was very good, every now and then a waiter came around in appropriate time intervals. We ate two different appetisers which both tasted and looked fantastic, tasting the several indian spices reminded me back to my visit in asia. Our main dishes were delicious and served in a hot plate so it stayed warm for a long while. Though I definitely go there when I visit Berlin again and I can recommand this restaurant for very good indian food."

"for about thirty years, I have been in the Croatian restaurant dalmacija, a restaurant that you used to name just loose jugo when there was still the jugoslavia as a unitary state in Europe. this jugo-grill here has been there for several generations and many decades, and what should I say it has hardly changed over the many years. the same nice staff seems to work here and the same kind of clientele feels obviously here well. at any time of day, this is well visited locally! I like the ambiente of the 80s! the practicality and cleanliness! I don't want to miss the perfect Yugoslavian food at the time as today! at the time jugo, today a croate, still the eating of the balkan remains a firm here. the portions are very good and are still favorable over the years. I think there is hardly any better award for a restaurant, far from the city and Touri castles, than thirteenth long full hut with guests! tasty, friendly and also a great outstanding selection of delicious food from the Balkans!"

"Das Aarju ist das "indische" Restaurant Berlins, in dem ich am häufigsten war.Besitzerin des immer gut besuchten Restaurants ist interessanterweise eine Jordanierin mit ihrem Sohn. Das Essen ist von gleichbleibend guter Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Alle Cocktails kosten 4 Euro (weger der Dauer-"Happy Hour"), nicht-akoholische Cocktails sind etwas billiger. Das Restaurant liegt in der Nähe der (Greenwhich-) Promenade des Tegeler Sees in Alt-Tegel und hat bereits zwei Nachnahmer gefunden, die das Konzept "Indisch-Singaporianscher Küche", weniger gut, kopiert haben.Das Restaurant hat eine große Außenterrasse und ist innen hell und geräumig bestuhlt. Kreditkarten werden selbstverständlich akzeptiert. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, vor allem Omar, der die besten Cocktails mixt.Parkplätze sind (in Alt-Tegel) knapp, das ist aber schon das einzige Manko."
