"The Burton Bridge Inn brew their own beers which are lovely. I like the fact that you can get a traditional beer, with a choice of bar snacks such as pork pie, crisps and scratchings. The atmosphere is friendly with open fires. It can get very busy and sometimes you find yourself staring a table with strangers and striking up conversations. Dogs are allowed in both bar areas. There is a skittle alley upstairs which can be booked in advance. I love the fact that this is an old, unspoilt, traditional pub which has not been spoilt by commercial ideas and does not serve food."

Before I moved to the area to live, I had made a special trip to visit the Burton Bridge Inn based on its excellent reputation.

Called in on Saturday night before going for a meal. The pub was reasonably busy but not too crowded. Staff pleasant and public areas clean. The drinks were a good standard and good choices available. Would revisit.

Met with with five old friends for a few swift pints before heading off to a 50th birthday party in Branston. The beer was outstanding in terms of both quality and price. Customer service was also excellent as the pub started to get really busy at 6pm.

I was on a bachelor party and we visited the Burton bridge pub and had a guided tour of the brewery, which is well worth a visit and very interesting the brewer and guide was very informative. After the tour we sampled the brews and were very tasty, some had a meal afterwards which was very tasty, a very nice pub.

This was a great find on our short trip to Burton upon Trent. Right across from our hotel, the pub is friendly and welcoming and has a great range of ales, some brewed on site I think. The two guys who run the pub are friendly and gave us some really good advice on nearby restaurants. Every are should have a pub like this, thanks.

Went in as we were staying opposite at the Three Queens Hotel. This is a typical example of an old fashioned pub that are becoming more and more hard to find. I can honestly say it was an absolute gem. All the real ale is hand pumped and brewed by their own brewery. They do a beer paddle which means you can sample all their beers in one third pint glasses. All were great but The Stairway to Heaven stood out as a fantastic ale. A really friendly pub with both bar staff and regulars very welcoming.
