"The service at Cafe Cenno is excellent, with a great menu and reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. It's a hidden gem in Durham that I stumbled upon with my disabled mother. We were pleasantly surprised by the large, crispy chips and tender chicken nuggets in the kids meals. My mother enjoyed her cappuccino and I liked the complimentary fruit shoots. The wheelchair-accessible lift made it easy for us to enter the cafe and sit at our table, which offered a nice view of the market square with a small train on display. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend."

Not bad 2 x 8 item all day £795 each) breakfast OK but the tined tomatoes were a no no i like fresh tomatoes and the fish chips looked nice the place was pretty busy

Great cafe in the market. Lots of choice and the ladies serving were really nice. It is extremely hot in there as the roof is all glass so you wouldn't want to be there too long in summer. View menu

We had a ham salad sandwich that was really fresh, and pancakes that were nothing like my own pathetic efforts but thick and fluffy. Everything was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely food (fish and chips). Great location in the covered market in the centre of Durham. Counter service was a bit slow when queuing to place our order (Thursday lunchtime) but otherwise enjoyable meal with friends.

Cracking full English breakfast, bacon, sausage, egg, beans, tinned tomatoes, black pudding, fried bread or toast. Good price too and nice location in the indoor market. Highly recommended if you fancy a good full English. View menu

The cafe on the first floor of the market hall is always bustling, but the service is excellent and they serve delicious scones. They also offer main meals at a slightly higher price than other places, but they are well-presented.

The best part of this cafe was it overlooked the market. Ordered 3 drinks and two ice cream tubs. The ice cream had at most two plastic spoon sized bites inside. Two chocolate milkshakes with 0 flavour. On the bright side my fathers tea was given a it 's okie I guess
