Great good, quality product, atmosphere as at home. The decoration is rustic and modern. I recommend it warmly.

Restaurant between a decoration shop, kitchen utensils and a sort of guest house, there are very good family dishes prepared in the same room as the guests. Nice and very smiling welcome. Go away!

As usual, always a good time, I love this place. very good reception, quality cuisine, faultless service. I love the spirit store with beautiful objects too. a test for those who do not know and redo for others.

Very fine house kitchen. The dishes of the menu are homemade and very well cooked. At the end of the meal a discovery of the food shop, from the knife to the most sophisticated robot, from the cook to the home linen everything is to be discovered. View menu

Have eaten here several times and always had a good lunch. Make sure to book in advance as you will be lucky to get in on the off chance, sometimes they run out of choices but as the food is freshly cooked every day I would rather that than have something thats been hanging around in the fridge for a day or too! This restaurant is based on the concept of eating in the kitchen with all the utensils hanging around you: utensiles, pots pans, even the furnace are items that can be bought. On the first floor you can visit a showroom on kitchen design.. Quite a ground-breaking concept.. and lovely atmosphere. The owners are friendly ladies proposing home-cooking using all these items. (they apparently also provide cooking courses)

Café de Balme, Magland, after a 20 minutes drive from Chamonix in the Arve valley you will discover a traditional yellow family house dedicated to the kitchen and home furniture. You will find high quality kitchen accessories, La Cornue and Aga cookers and some very interesting Italian furnitures. The center of the place is a kitchen where they serve for lunch only, a comfort 3 courses French family menu, with a choice of 3 starters, 3 main course and 3 deserts.
