"We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the dining room, a veritable French Cafe. There was a lot of hustle and bustle because it was very busy, but quite frankly, it was like that because there were not enough servers given the number of...tables. While the servers were very good, the service wasn't very good. You had to work hard to get their attention to get water, missing utensils, ask questions etc. The food was very good. We ordered appetizers to share, namely, the oeufs durs (hard-boiled eggs draped in mayonnaise) and a burrata (a soft Buffalo mozarella-like cheese), both delicious and tasty. I loved the plat' I ordered the cabillaud (cod) served with fresh spinach and a savoury tapanade. The cod was fresh, chunky and substantive, the tapanade providing it further zest and flavor. The crumble aux pommes (apple crumble) was good as the apples were fresh, but the crumble on top was or seemed to be just a slab of brown sugar with sprinkles of oats. I did not enjoy that as much. All in all however, still a good meal."

I come back to France twice a year and I always want to get quaint french food before going back to California.

We've been going here for years. It is the quintessential wine bar in all of Paris. The sélection is reasonable in price and comprehensive

while we searched the emily in paris apartment location on our last trip to paris, a downpour sent us a deceased for a nearby midday location. we are immersed in the nearby nouvelle mairie and enjoyed quiche and wein! such a nice surprise.

Stopped on the way to the Pantheon for le déjeuner at the recommendation of Le Fooding. Service was very friendly, food and wine were very nice. Eggs with mustard, endive salad. Quiche was fantastic. Excellent if pricey Gamay. Was going to leave a tip for...the nice service but noted 2x boisson chaud on the bill. At 4 euros each. Didn’t feel like arguing on a 100 euro tab. Buyer beware.

My Paris birthday dinner was here and it was a very solid pick. I want to be close to our Latin Quarter Hotel but not go to one of the many tourist places in the area. Café de la Nouvelle Mairie was the right choice....Luckily we made a reservation as the place was packed with locals when we arrived. Be aware that the menu changes daily with about 3 main choices available each night. The food was excellent (pate a great starter) and the atmosphere, Parisian. View menu

Our first night in Paris and we went to this cosy little bistro by the Pantheon recommended by the Lonely Planet. Everything was wonderful! The waiter took the time to explain/translate the menu for us, and you can get wine by the glass, carafe, or...bottle. We got the peppers, buffalo mozzarella, terrine, and both cheese plates. It gets crowded fast, so if you don’t have a booking, arrive a little before 8pm which is when the kitchen opens. It was one of my favourite Parisian bistros. Thank you!

since we are emily.in Paris fans we havre visited some of the places in paris where the shooting took place. After we had made photos on the place de l’estrapade, we wanted to have a drink in this cafe restaurant. Fortunately, we were asked to laugh, as it was almost 8 o'clock and dinner time and did not want to eat since we had lunch late. Despite numerous free tables, the waiter was unpoliticized amd we left very disappointed . note that on TV everything appears much more beautiful than in reality
