"Several days ago my wife and I stayed at La Mas du Cadranier b&b in Villeneuve, France. Arriving late we asked the owner for a dinner recommendation. Without hesitation she offered Bistro de Pays de Noizelles. To insure we got a seat she called ahead to make a reservation. The restaurant is located in Noizelles; a tiny viillage and seats (inside) approximately 25 patrons. The very engaging waiter explained the menu (written on a chalkboard) and made certain recommendations. We each enjoyed a very tasty Ceasar salad. My wife's rib lamb chops and pomme frites were cooked perfectly. I chose Ravioli covered with a basal cream sauce. The sauce introduced a variety of delicate flavors without overpowering the ravioli. For dessert my wife had a light sponge cake with cherries on top of a delicious custard sauce. I had a cake with pears inside; also sitting in a custard sauce. Throughout the meal we enjoyed the waiter's great personality. All of the above (with two glasses of wine) for 59 euros! If you are in the Manosque area don't miss a meal at Bistro de Pays de Noizelles. As we proceeded through it became clear that the bistro has many returning local diners. Soon after we arrived the restaurant filled up.In addition to offering outside dining during warmer months I believe they close during February and March."

Was there for dinner. We were 2 couples. Everything we had was good and tasty. The service was good too. Prices are really OK for this level of quality.

Cuisine was one of the best in the Provence. The setting in the garden was breezy and cozy. 30 Euro for 3-course dinner of highest standards was unbelievable.

We had two lunches here and both were excellent. There is a good choice of dishes on the menu and all are high quality. The service is very good and the prices reasonable. An excellent find.

We were keen to experience a meal at one of the Bistrot de Pays restaurants in the south of France and this one was recommended to us by locals. The food was delicious and the service was great. Locally grown and sourced produce, all freshly cooked. Very happy with our meal.

During past visits to Provence, I have twice driven past this place due to the exterior cafe-like appearance. Having seen and heard so many recommendations however, on our most recent trip we went in for dinner, and realised that we have been missing a treat. Great food, great service, and an interior in keeping with the great country bistrot it is.I went for lamb cutlets cooked in fresh local herbs, served with chunky fries. My wife went for vegetable lasagne. Tarte Amande and Nougat Glace followed. The strawberry sauce accompanying the Nougat Glace deserves special mention, being so packed with fruit it was unbelievable.Nothing to fault in any way, and one to add to our regular haunts.

This is one of those times I'd wish we could hand out half point scores as well. I feel that 3/5 is a bit too low and 4/5 would have been too generous on the day.Love the setting and the energetic waiter makes everybody feel welcome. For me though, the food was a bit too simplistic but that's personal. Anything i can easily come up with at home isn't something I'd necessarily run to a restaurant for. So the goat's cheese salad was just ok.The olive oil and bread that came with, were great though ! Again, for mains, a simple but good entrecote ( with very good fries ) The chocolate fondant was quite tasty.Time for a coffee, but as in some many places , once you're done, you're done and forgot...

This appears like a little roadside cafe it is much more than that. Ate here twice during our three day stay. The food was super. The waiter guided us away from local delicacies including lamb intestines. The restaurant was busy each night we went so booking may be vital. There was also a large number of French eating here not sure if they were local or tourists as well. It seemed like a good sign.Service was excellent. Though a little slow at times. A trend we found throughout our ten day stay in Provence. Particularly like the way the waiter explained the menu. The food. I had pork terrine followed by steak and chips each night served medium rare very tasty then nougat ice cream. One night sp...
