"It's a given that restaurants the world over consider it their inalienable right to overcharge for a New Year's menu, but they should at least manage to make the food pleasant. Unfortunately, only one of six dishes for the two of us made the cut;...the poularde was excellent fowl, with deboned portions of dark meat held together with a forcemeat of the white meat, reassembled in a cylinder, wrapped in skin, roasted and sliced into lovely pucks, served over excellent mashed potatoes and then lavished with deeply flavored morel cream sauce, with lots of succulent morels. The other main was a forgettable filet de beouf, properly cooked, but served with only a tiny portion of the bernaise sauce that was promised, and instead served with a spinach based sauce that did not work for us with the beef. The two starters were a slice of bland pate en croute, and a serving of raw langoustines and scollops with thin slices of turnip that failed to inspire. Both desserts were banal (a mont blanc and a slice of bûche de Noel). Wine list skews to rather pricey, although a bottle of Marsannay was very, very good at €52. Service was okay. Would not recommend or return based on this meal. Total with two menus at €85 each, two glasses of champagne, and the bottle of red was €252, not an auspicious beginning to 2022."

Sparse with people, and with good reason from this experience, food was very ordinary.....bisque was something else. Staff did their best and were friendly, but food and ambiance let them down.

I had my first dinner at this place during my visit to betting in July, a very good choice, the best gaspacho I've ever had and a delicious espadon, a friendly service of the young waitress who, when I left, said thank you and told me to come back. has recommended without hesitation and good appetite!!

I wish I could remember the amazing vegetable soup that I had as my first course. The second was the boeuf bourguignon and the dessert was a pear in chocolate sauce. All good. But the vegetable soup was amazing and non dairy and light. The...service was nice and pleasant. I went right after they opened after noon without a reservation.

recently taken over the museum coffee shop finds its particular cachet. happy to see the chef dai again in the furnace and to see with what professionalism and goodness of heart we are received in this well-known establishment of the marsh. the whole team is available so that you will have a very pleasant time. To go there without hesitation to spend a very pleasant moment.

We had a very nice meal here. This was probably the friendliest and best service we had during our 4-5 days in Paris. Everyone who served us seemed to be happy to be working at the restaurant, which was refreshing to see versus our usual...experience. The food was good and a good value. The beef bourguinon was very tasty. The location is great as the Marais is a wonderful neighborhood. We will return on our next trip.

we went to this restaurant located in the marsh after being recommended by local friends. We were not disappointed at all, on the contrary. the restaurant is in full Parisian style, with an interesting map and a very varied wine map. We ate a reminder of entries and as a main dish the day dish, which is a really tender and tasty lamb (prepared with garlic and other herbs). we went back satisfied and full, the dishes are indeed very copied. Moreover, servers are extremely kind and helpful. very good price for quality and quantity. a recommendation.

Just happened to walk by Cafe Des Musees late in lunch hour, stopped in because it was crowded with locals. What great luck for me maybe my new favorite restaurant in Paris, even though it’s “only” a bistrot. I sat at the small counter...(since I was solo and planning only to have a cup of tea, seemed the decent thing to do); little did I know I’d get the benefit of watching from a very few feet away the magic going on in the tiny galley type kitchen (on that day, Chef Dai and Assistant Eri). For the first 45 minutes I honestly couldn’t take my eyes off the culinary artistry, speed, attention to detail, and courtesy exhibited by the whole Cafe des Musees team (the two chefs Emil Jiovanna).
