"Whenever we visit our daughter in Frome, we make sure to stop by this cafe almost every day. We absolutely love the coffee, food, ambiance, and the friendly staff. Despite coming all the way from Peterborough, we always make a special effort to visit this cafe whenever we can. As a gluten-free individual, I appreciate their delicious almond cake and fruit slice. We even bring our grandchildren there for a delightful brunch. Overall, it's a wonderful experience every time we go, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you!"

Excellent breakfast sandwiches. A little more expensive than some places but the quality was very good. Well worth looking out down a side street.

I decided to revisit, after a poor experience last year. I shouldnt have bothered. Average coffee. Slow service. I'll stick to Costa and Starbucks going forward. Nicer coffee.

The bacon and sausage sandwiches were excellent. A little more expensive than some places but the quality was very good. Good service. Well worth looking out down a back street.

I popped in here on my first visit to Frome, ordered a small cappuccino and decadent brownie. The lady wasn’t very friendly and rushed me to order. The coffee was in a very small cup but the brownie was lovely. £6.50 for a very small coffee and thin brownie was a bit steep. Won’t return.

A nice establishment set on a corner off the Main Street. Varied menu. Tasty sausage sandwiches (both veggie and Cumberland meat version) and nice hot delicious coffee. Finished off with two pieces of shortbread. Clean seating area both upstairs and downstairs and clean loos. Recommended.

This charming café is actually larger than it appears, with an upstairs section too. We chose to sit near the bar and indulged in a delicious flat white coffee and a lemon pastry. The atmosphere was delightful and it is clearly a popular spot in Frome. They also offer a variety of lovely deli-style products that can be purchased as gifts.

Finally somewhere that does a nice cup of tea! Sounds simple but most places don’t. We all had different English breakfasts which were delicious, quality meat and attention to detail with things like the tomatoes and mushrooms. Everything was well cooked and tasty. My wife enjoyed her coffee and being a barista herself knows a good one. Staff were polite and helpful. Would visit again and recommend.

Located in the heart of Frome, Cafe La Strada is just a short walk from the railway station. During my visit on a busy Saturday morning, I was able to find a seat near the entrance. The flat white I ordered was delicious, and the pain au chocolat was a perfect accompaniment. The service was quick and friendly, and I noticed that they had a variety of breakfast and lunch options available. They also offer alcohol for those looking to enjoy a drink with their meal.

This cafe was really busy on a freezing November morning and we had to wait for a downstairs table to become free, but it was well worth it. The breakfast menu is served until 3pm which is great and we had smoked salmon and poached egg on smashed avocado toast (slightly healthier than the full English! . Really enjoyed it and well worth the cost. The cafe is dog friendly too and the staff were really good with him, given that he plonked himself down in their walkway. A great find.
