"I usually order my coffee from Nero on Curzon Street every morning, but I have noticed that not everyone there is nice and polite. The past couple of days, Thursday, 22nd August and Friday, 23rd August, left me quite disappointed. This has happened before, but it's becoming unacceptable for it to happen every day. On Thursday, I ordered a coffee using the Click and Collect service and went to pick it up nearly 30 minutes later, knowing from past experiences that they might be busy or could forget to prepare the coffee. When I arrived, the coffee wasn't ready, and there was no acknowledgment that my order had even been received. Today, Friday, was even worse. I went to collect my order after 15-20 minutes, and not only had my order not been acknowledged again, but the ticket for my coffee was crumpled up and thrown in the bin. This level of disrespect and disregard for customers is disgraceful. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their service. It's disappointing to see a place I visit regularly fail to meet basic customer service standards."

The drinks were nice a fruit booster strawberry and peach. The staff were efficient behind the counter but the place was filthy with cups piled up everywhere.

I always look for one wherever I am. The coffee is perfect every time and when you drink it on site, you have it in a ceramic cup and not a disposable. The pastries are awesome. View menu

Perfect for a reasonably priced breakfast and a lovely cappuccino. The yogurt parfait was just what we needed after over indulging in too many calories the night before. Nice atmosphere seats outside too.

Ordered one cappuccino and a carrot cake on 26 of July 2023. The cappuccino tasted like hot milk, the carrot cake first fork crushed like cookies, i van tell it was left over. Went to the young lady who serves me(her name was Alexandra). Gave it back, no refund went to nearest pret.

Very reasonable to drop in for coffee, sandwich some pastry or snack. Counter people are efficient and prepare your café au lait or American Coffee swiftly. The tables are convenient but quickly fill up w/ tourists their young children who stay in the many hotels in the area. No complaints just a slight change from Pret a Manger or Starbucks. View menu

After a bracing walk around Hyde Park on a Sunday Morning we walked in towards the central area and called in here for a warming drink and snack for lunch. Choice of seating arrangements and good selection of sweet and savoury foods to enjoy in or take away. Located just off main Piccadilly Road this offers a quieter setting than those on main routes.

It didn’t start well with no greeting. My husband asked for two teas, one black and one with milk on the side. Both teas were presented with milk, when my husband said he had asked for only one with milk on the side, the young blond lady visibly rolled her eyes and huffed. I fully appreciate that hospitality are struggling however there was no excuse for not apologising when it was clearly her fault. It was busy, they clearly are under pressure and we all make mistakes, just apologise when you get it wrong and don’t visibly show your frustration.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
