"After a long day out at the footy and needing sustenance for the long journey home, this was the first place we spied coming out of the Tube. My knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine is limited but when I've sampled it, it's been very good. Yara in Alderley Edge is the obvious example around here. Delicious food. Anyway, we didn't have a clue so just asked the owner and he very patiently explained the dishes. We shared 2 plates and they were just what we needed, wholesome and tasty. I should mention the big, bitter lump I tried half way through the meal. Turned out it was a roasted lemon! Fascinated to read the dirty and a hangout for drug dealers review, the place can't be that dirty as it gets a 4/5 stars on the food standards agency website. Admittedly that's not ideal but some of the reviews on here are by people with an axe to grind. Reasonably priced too."

This restaurant is awful. I do not recommend ordering anything from here. The chicken was not seasoned or cooked correctly, and I was unable to eat it.

I've eaten here twice it is ok for a quick tea or fresh orange juice. The food is ok I would be happier if service is a little better. Maybe it is best set up to accommodate take away.

The food at this restaurant was superb. We ordered kubideh, chicken kebab, ghorme sabzi, and my personal favorite, baghali polo bo gusht, which was incredibly delicious and tasted just like it does in Iran.

Totally not worth the service. I was charged £3 for two glass bottle of coke, 9 pounds for Ghormeh Sabzi which didn’t have much meat on eat, basically rice and beans, and 1 pounds service charge. £16 for one main course meal. Totally not worth. View menu

Food was room temperature when sereved. Meal was priced as £5.50 out side, it became £7.00 once we were inside.Service was a hot mess, dirty cutlery and food was bland.Tomato sauce from a tin, rice and over/under (no idea how they managed that) lamb.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

The cafe is right opposite golders green station it is in a great location. We had full english breakfasts. Meal is a good price but you get what you pay for 1 bacon and 1 egg the breakfast is 5.50. We ordered fries to go with the breakfast but this was not given. It was very unorganised food was ok.

I decided to try this restaurant with hopes of enjoying some quality homemade Persian food. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as the meat was served cold and undercooked, the rice lacked flavor, and the bread was cold. The presentation of the starter was sloppy and the main dish arrived too quickly after. Overall, I was unimpressed with my experience at this establishment. View menu

I chanced a light lunch at Cafe Persia as I strolled about Golders Green. A typical basic, simple Iranian diner with a nice elderly lady skewing nice middle eastern dishes throughout the day. What's most warming is the homey hospitality of its proprietor who treats every customer as friends. With a little more lighting preferred, this eatery is reasonably priced, wifi free and is a treat for Iranian music lovers, especially live on Fridays.

Today was my 8th visit and have taken 4 different friends to the cafe over the year. Today l just wanted the coffee and sandwich at 2.50 advertized in the cafe window. Before l had even sat down l was being asked what l wanted, and telling me l should have something else instead of sandwich which when l asked was much more expensive. After that l was ignored and the owner and pos wife sat down for lunch and even when l got up to the coffee counter they would not look at me. There was 1 other customer in the cafe and he could obviously under stand ther conversation and looked at me sadly and confused. Well what can l say but last time and l will tell my friends. Maybe they are planning to clo...
